For many years, i subscribed to d dictum that certain things can't be achieved until one attains a particular age. In d last few years however, i have had 101 reasons to believe otherwise. In d area of governance for instance, one needs look not too far to realize that d men and women that have made d most significant impact on their countries did so before they became fifty. The most disturbing fact however is that while those who drafted d 1999 Constitution stipulated 40 as d age for president, 35 for governor, 35 for Senate, and 30 for House of Reps/House of Assembly, those at d helm of affairs have not deemed it fit to make it possible for d youths to get near d corridors s of power. They keep saying d youths are unemployable hence they should not be given "too much responsibilities". The question is : Is age and performance inversely related?
