It is the dividend of change. The government at the moment is confused. People are really facing hard times. The lesson Nigerians should learn is that you dont change a winning team.

I hope you're getting paid for being a blatant satanist, if not you need medical check up.
He spoke the truth. If tithe works there should be no complain of lack. So, we can say God doesn't ask anyone for Tithe.

What happened to God being there for his people just as the pastors shout themselves hoarse each Sunday?

Bloody scammers.

You shouldn't draw conclusions on God and what the bible say just because of your observations in few churches in Nigeria.

They shouldn't have brought the issue here, these should have been a prayer point to all the churches in Nigeria, God wil not allow his children to suffer, God will soon change the situation...

Many of these pastors supported change/transformation. Some of them politicized the altar of God, so let them deal with the shortage of offerings. Only spiritually dead churches put their minds and souls on money anyway.

If you can't do the work of God without money, then go and farm.

That's the problem with people. The church is not an NGO or a social enterprise. Its aim is to lead humans on the right path to meet the Lord.

If your aim is to help people prosper in business and 'explode' financially, you have no business being a pastor, just take a course in investment banking or apply to SURE-P.

same way Adeboye politised his church/altar for GEJ??

By the time APC & Buhari finishes with Nigeria & Nigerians, we will understand that Christianity is free but you must buy your bible..
Go on your knees and plead for God to dash you small sense my brother. The first church cited in the report is in Akure and the pastor said the decline in tithe payment is as a result of civil servants in the state not being paid. That state is run by a PDP governor. It's an oil producing state with the smallest civil service in the SW, bar Ekiti. This same governor received bail-out when he had no business receiving such, with the huge allocation the state receives as the only oil-producing state in the SW, yet workers haven't been paid for five (5) good months now. Na Buhari cause that one? I know a dummy like you programmed to scream APC and Buhari will not understand all what I've written.

But the pastors here are quick to tell you that it's because you didn't pay tithe that you're going through a misfortune quoting Malachi for you. Why are these members crying to receive soft loans to cater for their needs from the church if truly tithe payment is meant to make them never lack as preached by these pastors? We need to use our brains in this country.

Well, that did not stop or affect Adeboy's money making venture, aka RCCG from making millions and raising more millionaires. But today, the reverse is the case. The church and the members are writing another book of LAMENTATION on cash crunch.

Osunbade should take care of the churchs and members

This is the time for the Chruches to give back to the people who have paid tithes but the greed among some of these pastors will not allow them do so, rather they take advantage and use the slogan "give as little as possible, God loves a cheerful giver".

The mindset of an average Nigerian is that God will do everything, this is wrong. God has already sent his son to die on the cross, if you expect him to send Jesus to come and die the second time you are wrong and that's greed. Nigerians should learn to relieve God of their burden.

Speaking of the Bible, didn't the Holy Book give these so-called MOGS the signs of the end time which undoubtedly we're in? Does a faith-based church need to be reminded about these happenings? Well, that in itself is another pointer to the fact that we are in the last days - Financially motivated churches everywhere u turn, whilst the members remain neck-deep in sin. Smh for the modern day christianity.

Nothing sells like religion, Not even real estate or oil and gas because you would need start up capital but for religion no need for capital, you just need to slick with the tongue and smile to the bank.

If you read what the guy I quoted posted, then you'll see why I replied him in that way. Punch reporters interviewed a pastor with a church in Akure who complained about the decline in tithes primarily because most of his members are civil servants who have not been paid salaries for months. The Id!ot I quoted attributed all of these to people voting for change, in essence APC. If the report had indicated that it's only APC states that haven't paid workers salaries or Buhari-led govt refused to give states their allocations, then he'd have been justified but you and I know that's not the reality. I'm particularly concerned about Ondo state, a PDP governed state because I'm an indigene, I reside there and it's one of the case studies in this report, hence I'm a stakeholder and not a card-carrying member of any godamn party. This state received bail-out when it had no business receiving such with the huge allocation it receives monthly from the FG as an oil-producing state coupled with the relatively smaller civil service and yet couldn't pay workers for five(5) months counting now. Is that as a result of voting for change? Please answer that question. Next time, understand the perspective of a post before u dabble into matters you know little about and make a fool of yourself. Going to the extent of using the word "insane". You're simply stupid for that. Don't quote me if you have nothing intelligent to say. I wasn't responding to you in the first instance.

I don't know if its just me but I feel this survey or whatever and the church that allowed such a degrading analysis of its church financial status is uncalled for. The church is not a company and the main purpose of church is not to raise money or give offerings. I couldn't read to the last line cos as a christian I felt really embarrassed by this whole thing. Who the is this pastor for Gods sake?? I really don't knw wht to say.

End time Pastors

If the funds for paying tithe is going down does it mean "the devourers" weren't rebuked in the affairs of the tithers?

If the bible said that the Kingdom of God is not Meat and drink (material things), why the preoccupation with Meat and drink by pastors?

If "old things have passed away" how come Malachi 3:16 have been retained, maintained, expanded and exploited by pastors?

At times I am wont to believe man was created by a flesh and blood alien being in the light of Malachi 3:16.
