If you ask an average Christian,
” What does the Bible say about
Muhammad (p)?” He or she will
reply ” Nothing!”. Yes! You don’t
need to argue, because modern
days Bibles are mostly written
in English language; the name
Muhammad (p) can therefore
never be found in any of the
Biblical verses, so you can’t
blame an average Christian for
giving you such reply.
Although, it will become so
amazing, that Bible contains no
single information about
Muhammad (p) as claimed by
Christians, a Book that spoke
about the past and future
events, did not remember to say
a word about a man who spoke
well of Jesus (p) ?
A man who brought a world wide
community of millions of
believers ( Muslims) to believe
on his authority in:
1. Righteousness of Jesus (p) -
Qur’an 6:85
2. Miraculous birth of Jesus (p)
– Qur’an 3 : 45 – 47, 19 : 22 –
33
3. The miracle of Jesus ( p ) as
permitted by Allah (AW) –
Qur’an 5 : 113 – 114.
No! No! No! The Holy Bible
must have said something about
Muhammad ( p ).
Like so, Jesus is not
mentioned by name
Every adult Christian believes
that, if not hundreds, there are
thousands of prophecies about
the coming of the Messiah, in
the old testaments. However, in
all of these thousands of
prophecies, non is Jesus Christ
mentioned by name. If there is
any, I need somebody to present
it here, in the commentary.
Christ is a title derived from the
word ‘ Messiah’ meaning the
anointed.
What Criteria can you use to
justify, that the prophecies in the
old testaments refer to Jesus
(p)? Can you deduct –
philosophize to justify that?
Though, deduction comes with
lots of errors?
Prophecy
If you are asked, “What is
prophecy?”. What would be your
answer? According to Oxford
dictionary, 7th edition ”
Prophecy is a statement that
something will happen in the
future, especially one made by
somebody with religious or
magic power”.Thank God, the
prophecies of the old testaments
were made by men of religion
like Moses, Isaiah, etc.,
therefore we are expected to see
exactly; the physical and
spiritual picture of the
prophecies, as they were
fulfilled.
Let us read this verse together,
Deuteronomy 18 v 18 ” I shall
raise them up a prophet, from
among their brethren, like unto
thee, and I shall put my words in
his mouth and he shall speak to
them, all I shall command him”.
To whom do you think the verse
( Deuteronomy 18 v 18 ) refers?
If you asked an average
Christian, “To whom does this
prophecy refer?” He or she,
without hesitation will reply-
Jesus Christ (p); without any
evidence. If every prophecy can
be identified upon deduction,
without facts and truths then we
Muslims, also have the rights to
adopt same method and say ”
The Biblical prophecies about
the coming prophet is for
Prophet Muhammad (p),
however we won’t do so for it is
not necessary.
The great dialgue
One of our comparative fathers,
Ahmad H. Deedat (RH) , one day
was in a dialogue with a head of
the Christians then in South
Africa. The dialogue was about
this very verse ( Deuteronomy
18 v 18 ). Sheik Deedat asked
the head of the Christians whom
he addressed as dominee, ” To
whom does this prophecy refer?”
Without the slightest hesitation,
he answered ‘ Jesus’! Sheik
asked why Jesus, his name is
not mentioned here? The
dominee replied ” Since
prophecies are words or pictures
of of something that is going to
happen in the future, we find
that the wordings of this verse
adequately describe him
(Jesus). You see, the most
important words of this
prophecy are ” Like unto thee”-
Like you- Like Moses and Jesus
is like Moses”.
Let us leave Sheik with the
dominee for now, so that he may
do the justice.
Sheik Deedat’s own
words
” I questioned him: In which way
is Jesus like moses? The
answer was: ” In the first place,
Moses was a Jew and Jesus
was also a Jew; secondly,
Moses was a Prophet and Jesus
was also a Prophet – therefore
Jesus is like Moses and that is
exactly what God has foretold
Moses. ” Can you think of any
other similarities between Moses
and Jesus?” I asked. The
Dominee said that he could not
think of any. I replied: “If these
are the only two criteria for
discovering a candidate for this
prophecy of Deuteronomy 18 v
18, then in that case, these
criteria could fit any of the
following Biblical personages
after Moses – Solomon,
Isaiah,Ezekiel, Hosea,Joel,
Malachi, John the Baptist, etc,
because they were all Jew and
Prophets. Why should we not
apply this prophecy to any one
of these Prophets and why only
to Jesus? Why should we make
fish of one and fowl of another?
The dominee had no reply. I
continued. ” You see, my
conclusions are that Jesus is
most unlike Moses, and if I am
wrong I would like you to correct
me.
The Three light
evidences that Jesus is
most unlike Moses
Now, let me come in, so that
Sheik Deedat (RA) would go
back and rest in sha Allah in
the mercy of his Lord for
the moment.

1. Jesus is not like
Moses, because
according to the
majority of Christians,
Jesus is God, however
Moses is not god;
thus Jesus is not like
Moses.
2. According to
Christians, Jesus died
on the cross, for the
sins of the world, but
Moses did not have to
die for the sins of the
world.
3. According to the
Christians, Jesus went
to Hell fire and spent
three days, but Moses
did not have to; how
alike are they?
Watch out for the part
two!

Dey there dey decieve yourself.
Mohammed is not mentioned in the bible because he was not a prophet sent by the Christian God,the One Who sent Jesus. All prophets came BEFORE jesus and Jesus was the seal of the prophets. His coming brought an end to the coming of the prophets because He came to deliver something no prophet could give which is eternal life.Eternal life made available means there was no need for any prophet again. He can't give anything greater than eternal life which of course he did not have.
Muhammed is the only prophet of Allah.(I know all that story of Allah being the Arabic word for God and all that.Allah however is not the One Who sent Jesus). That muhammed started a religion that has many followers means nothing.Buddha also did the same and Hindu has many followers.

The prophecy about God sending another Prophet after the kind of Moses spoke about Jesus. The prophecy says God will raise one from among your brethren. [/b ] There are 12 tribes of Israel and 'your brethren' spoken of there means from another of those 12tribes.Jesus came through the tribe of Judah.Mohammed [b]DIDN'T come from the tribes of Israel.
Your quran says Jesus was a prophet so the 'prophet' spoken of was Jesus. He was a Prophet and Messaih.

I know you guys have to twist so many things to give yourself credibility.Even quote the bible you say is false as evidence.
Again I say,dey dia dey deceive unaself.

Deuteronomy 34:10-12 New International
Version (NIV)
Since then, no prophet has risen in Israel
like Moses, whom the Lord knew FACE TO FACE , who did all those SIGNS AND WONDERS
the Lord sent him to do in Egypt—to
Pharaoh and to all his officials and to his
whole land. For no one has ever shown
the MIGHTY POWERS or performed the
AWESOME DEEDS that Moses did in the sight
of all Israel. These are the xtics of a prophet like unto Moses. Mohammed, clearly did not even have one of these. Keep deceiving yourself...

Thorpido, if I agree with you that Jesus is a prophet ( truly he is, but christians don't agree) for argument sake; How come you can't provide genuine evidence that Jesus is like Moses? From their brethren; Ismael and Israel are brothers from the same father, therefore their children are brethren to one and another.
Can you point out the miraculous similarities, between Jesus and Moses?

Matthew 11:9 ,Jesus said what did you go out to see,a prophet?Yes and more than a prophet!
No Christian will not agree Jesus was not a prophet but He was MORE than a prophet. He said it with His own mouth and that is what muslims don't accept.Jesus is also Lord!
Ishmael and Israel were children of the same father but never shared that 'brotherhood' at any point in time. You can bring out the quoran to show me otherwise. The 'brethren' here are the tribes(descendants) of Israel,no need to twist it.
There are many similarities between Moses and Jesus.Just search yourself.Don't have the time now.

Never dialogue Bible stuff with Muslims because they never have Holy Spirit so they only interpret Bible literarily. Moses typified Jesus Christ and everything that happened in the wilderness was a shadow of the real manifestation through Christ. Moses was a deliverer for the children of Israelites while Jesus is a deliverer for the whole world. Besides, is it by force to recognise Mohammed? Bible does not recognise any anti-Christ and there is no any preaching from muslims that will make the Christian to accept anything outside the Bible. Everything in the Bible pointed to Jesus Christ. The only place in the bible that mohammed was mentioned was when Jesus warned of false prophets that will come after him and how we can identify them by their fruits. Now we know the fruits of mohammed as been sorrow, tears and blood for the last 1,400 years so we know know clearly that he is a 100% false prophet.

Despite your evidences are illogical and confusing to yourselves, I will still find the patience to educate you more about your Bible; which you understand not. In the first place, there is no where it is written in the Bible that you need holy ghost to understand it. God is not the author of confusion ( 1Cor14:33). The words of Jesus, and God in the Bible are always clear and simple. It is the verses written by those unknown authors and other humans in the Bible that come with confusion.
Re: Muhammad And The Bible by abdulmalik1988(m): 7:09am On Apr 20, 2016
In fact the person to come is not holy ghost, but Muhammad (p) holy ghost need not to come according to Jesus himself, perhaps you don't read your Bible. Read: ...If I go not away, the comforter will not come unto you, but if I depart, I will send him unto you: John 16:7. You should know that Jesus is not referring to Holy ghost, because Holy ghost has been coming before Jesus: Luke 1:15, Luke 1:41, Luke 1:67. After his birth: Luke 3:22. It is nonsense to say he will send holy ghost who is already with him and his people. Think!

14:26But the Comforter, which isthe Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
John 14:26

Paul who you also quoted said:

2:10But God hath revealedthemunto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.
2:11For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God.
1 Corinth 2:8,9

It is WRONG to speak so authoritatively of something you know so little about.

Per ypur Op, pls show me where Jesus was referring when He said:
46 For had ye believed Moses, ye would have believed me: for he wrote of me. 47 But if ye believe not his writings, how shall ye believe my words?
John 5:45,46

You say Ismael did not share brotherhood with Israel, is that your credibility to justify that they are not brethren? If they don't share brotherhood together, thank God they share fatherhood together, and that is the most important thing.
Your criteria that Jesus is the prophet to come has been demolished in the main post itself, read it over and over.

It is quite unfortunate that you will not be able to provide a single similarity between the miracle of Jesus, and Moses; because the likeness in the first place is not based on miracle, but lifestyle and leadership. Just like I said, you need to understand your Bible, that is if you read it.
Here is the similarity:
Mother and Father: Moses had human mother and human Father, but Jesus had only human mother but no human biological Father, Muhammad had human mother and human Father. Therefore, Jesus is not like Moses, but Muhammad is like Moses. True or False?
Re: Muhammad And The Bible by abdulmalik1988(m): 7:39am On Apr 20, 2016
Miraculous Birth: Jesus was created by God in a special way, Moses was created in the normal way, so was Muhammad (p) created in the normal way: a male and female intercourse. There Jesus is not like Moses but Muhammad is like Moses, true or false?
Re: Muhammad And The Bible by abdulmalik1988(m): 7:43am On Apr 20, 2016
Marriage: Jesus remain Bachelor all his life, but Moses and Muhammad (p) got married and bore children. Muhammad is like Moses, Jesus is not like Moses, true or false? Let me leave you with these to ponder if you wish; next to come.
Re: Muhammad And The Bible by abdulmalik1988(m): 7:46am On Apr 20, 2016

According to your John 14: 26, if the holy spirit is how you christians view him, since his coming and going non of you has been able to provide one info, he gives you about things to come. Has he? If so, pls ask him what he tells a catholic Bishop, if you are protester, then the Bishop may give you exact answer to what he (holy ghost) tells you the protester.

You know, no one will believe that the holy ghost comes to disunite Christians. His message is suppose to be straightforward and same to all Christians denominations, why is he giving different teachings, has he forgotten his mission?
