small small the ballot box dey swell up like pregnant woman

people done dey vamoose eleksion ground

when suddenly…thunder sounds from everywhere and nowhere start to tear out eardrums

one ponders what thunderous sounds

since the heavens has ceased its tears

and the sky is at its brightest.

the thunderous sounds again, surely not heavenly

one by one they show their ugly faces

with their weapons of intimidation spitting out fear

as thumb prints are conjured up like magicians that they are,

ballot papers are replaced

eleksion…eleksion.
