On what ground does Nigerian demoracy stand? What are the true ideologies of our political parties?

I have tried to articulate this questions for so long now with much difficulty. Let us realise that democracy does not thrive on individuals but on ideologies / principles. If that is the case, where does Nigerian democracy stand? What is the ideology of PDP, ANPP, AC, NCP, gbogbo ti gbo parties all contesting the presidency?

The understanding of these is the beginning of democracy built on something.

The question is not about the party the question is are you as a person readt to vote for the most competent nigerian and not for the money bags because they throw some naira up the air.

I have not registered to vote. But I will. The question I have asked is "where does our democracy stand"
You cannot build castles in the air. There ought to be some very strong point of view of the parties and even our politicians ought to have an ideology or reason for being members of such parties. The idea of democracy for democracy sake just sucks, Just does not appeal to me.
This question should be answered quickly. We cannot have something on nothing just because it is democracy.

Where does our democracy stand?
American democracy stands on "taxation without representation is discrimination and deprivation" It is this that led to the American dream and declaration of independence.
That stand has kept that nation till date. All the parties clearly agree with that only they take different methods or approaches to solving its problems.
We need to get a bearing. Our democracy really has no ground on which it stands. We have people in power or contesting power for power sake.
