personally, i will suggest you start with POL. here mortality is minimal at nearly 0.5%. morbidity is also low. especially for one who is not an expert. starting with DOC could frustrate n discourage you when its ur first time. feel free to check sites like www.farmhubonline.com to see some good stuff that can help you.
