Hi nairalanders grin i have been apart of the site for a while now, my studies have been keeping me a bit distant but i always log in to see whats new from time to time.. anyway i just want to share something with you all that my soul has been telling me from the beginning. Thanks to ancestrydna for confirming that I am Nigerian! And yes it's a BIG deal. I'm putting missing pieces of my family history back together and it is empowering! It's amazing what your ancestors will do for you if you let them guide you.

Its good that you followed the voice of your guardian angel who has been urging you to comeback to motherland where your heart trully belongs. You can blend in easily with the populace due to the colour of your skin and you won't see anybody looking at you condescendingly because you are black but you will face some challenges with basic amenities and mosquitoes, which when you overcome them you will become a happier person. There will be no boring monotonous exixtence of work, tax fast food day in day out in your life.Just like in America there are good and bad people in Africa, so avoid showing off.My final advice is that you should apply to big multinational schools like olashore etc (their salary is almost what you earn ir more in u.s after taxes)because many Nigerians in the education are in love with American accents
