Atleast when people see this they'll appreciate and understand the reason why private universities charge as much as they do.

ABU has been paying light bills in millions since long.

The university is like a community on it's own, it's no wonder they have a community market. grin.

Just yesterday, I was gisting a friend in the office about how we used to have uninterrupted power supply running for weeks while I was still a student there.

ABU, truly a leader! I miss your beautiful and serene environment..., the discipline, even more!

Naturally ahead!

Sardauna of blessed memory, your legacy lives on!

Godiya muke!

When I read about other schools, I am moved to tears. What is Rochas doing that he has refused to pay our lecturers so we can resume school? Two weeks holiday has turned to two months for us.

I have almost forgotten my matric number, the number sef is too complicated and deserves to be forgotten. angry

If the electricity consumption is metered, and their bill amounts to that when calculated with the government approved tarrif, then it's fair. Let them learn to save energy, prevent wastage and do everything possible to keep consumption minimal.

I won't be surprised if they pay that amount for light because they hardly take the light Atimes 72 hours they won't take the light and if they take it within 2 hours they would bring it back. I doubt if there is any area In Nigeria that enjoys light like ABU in Nigeria.

Haba, wetin dem dey use reach like dat? How much industries go come pay.

Or maybe they just fabricated the story to back up their decision to limit power consumption time. (just thinking aloud though)

A university should be able to generate it's own electricity with that amount and all the sciences they teach. With N90 million I'll show them how to generate their own electricity forever!.
