Please explain coz I'm certain waited for the official international version of a note 3 pro I also paid for a pro version

Please Gimme link cos I really don't want to cry

check aliexpress... What you should be worried about is the specs of what you have not the name,

And from what I'm seeing, your phone has 3gb ram, 32gb ROM, Hexa-core Max 1.8Ghz which means it's the snapdragon 650, and that processor is the chipset that holds the 16MP camera.
You're using the Prime version

I'm looking to buy a Xiaomi phone and I'm seriously considering the Redmi 2. Any advice which one I should go for? My budget is around 29k and I stay in Oyo town.

Please which one is mine? Is it Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 3i Pro Prime 3gb 32gb Special Edition? Or simply redmi note 3 pro cheesy
Aunty no need to stress yourself, no matter the name people call it locally or internationally, what you have is the xiaomi redmi note 3 pro, 32gig version. It is the highest spec of the xiaomi redmi note 3, so you are covered. It is the snapdragon version that is called the pro, the mtk version is just xiaomi redmi note 3.

Thanks for confirming that those of us having the above specs on our RN3 Pro are on Snapdragon 650 cheesy

By the way, I am having issues configuring my fingerprint on my device. Is anyone else having this challenge?

Buy redmi 3 pro na or is it because of the bug I highlighted in the 1 I handled? That device is a beast, go for it, it should be among the best 5 inch midranger around at that price. I bought it for someone coming from iPhone 5 and he has not stopped thanking me. cool

Still hoping for a redmi pro or redmi note 4 with snapdragon chips though, otherwise might settle for Mi Max.

Currently on Xiaomi redmi note 2, performance is not bad at all, but battery drain is the issue. Mtks have not been good with battery management, plus the performance of the snapdragon 650 and 652 is already on par with mtk flagship. Then updates and support, the snapdragons have better support and at least redmi note 3 pro is getting an upgrade in Android version.

Xiaomi redmi note 2 battery has improved. It's the only Xiaomi device on MTK that receives enough support.

Note: We have this phone in stock.

Nope! When I bought mine it came with miui 6 out of the box, updated to the different versions of miui 7 and currently on miui 8. The battery issue is still there! The few times there were any improvement, the difference was not much. For sure the issue is not with Xiaomi but with the Helio x10 chip. You can also compare the battery backup for redmi note 3 mtk and snapdragon versions, the difference is clear, very clear.

Sorry, the battery issue is still there, you can check out other users' comments in miui forum. The support for this device though is great, really great!
Concerning the new update for this week, battery improvement has been promised, I will monitor it for like 3 days because right now there is really an improvement. I normally get such improvement in battery performance after updating but everything changes to normal after some days. I hope this is different.

If you can deal with the snapdragon 808 issues plus I believe its the 16gig version you can get for that price, then its a great device if those are no limitations to you; otherwise add small cash and get redmi 3 pro
