I see most people here condemn prosperity in the church without knowing that prosperity, good health and spiritual well being is a proof of one being a member of the kingdom of heaven. This is largely due to the lack of knowledge of what Christianity is all about.

Redemption of man

John 10:10 The redeemer said He came to give life in abundance to the dead. 1 Corinthians 15:22 says all died in Adam. Jesus died then to raise as many as believe in Him from the dead to the kingdom of heaven. No saved soul is on earth. All saved soul are in heaven with God their father,(Ephesians 1:20) so its both an insult and a misuse of ones right for a christian to be poor or sick. Its just like saying Adam was poor in the garden of Eden.
You were redeemed to experience the life and abundance of God which Adam once had. If your not having this what is your proof of redemption. Your still dead in Adam

Many say the church has left the message of salvation to preach about prosperity. It is unfortunate to hear this kind of thing. You don't preach a message of salvation to a saved soul but message of edification, only the unsaved need the message of salvation. When you preach a message of salvation to a saved soul it means you don't believe such one was saved the first time he gave his live to Christ and this unbelieve can rob off on such one to doubt his salvation. This is the reason you see people coming out for altar call every service day. They don't believe there are saved, so how can they be saved.

Its not really a law, is like my father coming everyday to remind me that he is mine father. It will leave a doubt on my mind of who mine father is. But if he come with a C of O to give me as an inheritance from him to me, even if I have doubted my paternity before I will have a rethink.

Because they never believe they are children of God. Thank God you say in the church not in the kingdom. We have a lot of people claiming children of God while there are not. A few limit themselves to being Christians but see being sons of God as heresy. However, there is a different between babes in the lord and so called sons in the kingdom who are not even saved. Babes in the lord are saved but don't know there right on their father, hence the message of edification and revelation of their inheritance in their new family because until you know it you can't possess it.

If you mean spiritual prosperity, I will agree with you, but if you mean material prosperity, then you are mistaken sir.

The bible discouraged a determination to be rich, stating that food and clothing should be enough for godly devotion. 1tim 6:6-8. will someone with such humble living be said to be rich?

Paul travelled from one place to another by foot. He didn't go by a Carmel or a horse nor did he own a ship or a chariot. He was a tent maker. He could not be counted as being rich.

Paul gave an instruction to "those" who are rich. 1tim 6:17. this would be meaningless if all were rich.

No one begrudges prosperity but the stampede for financial "prosperity" in Christendom is unsightly, be it the church itself or its adherents. In Mat 10:10 Jesus in one of the few authentic sayings of the NT sets the tone of the mien of a true Christian. They never tire of telling we "heathens" of how they are empowered to do healing, cleansing, demon chasing yada yada, but few have the inclination to follow the asceticism of their founder. They "talk- the-talk" but will not "walk-the-walk"

From ur long epistle, I can simply deduce that only the fortunate xtains have faith/believe. This is unfair Bro!

80 percent of the total xtains in churches today are living in mgt n abject poverty. It will be unruly for you to summarize that there misfortune is as a result of small faith. Remember that they are the majority in most churches.
