In Response to this thread https://www.nairaland.com/3089238/state-public-secondary-schools-osun

Ghydyon:
THE APPALLING STATE OF SCHOOLS IN OSUN STATE

...As if that isn't enough, the governor has shown a lackadaisical attitude towards revamping and resuscitating the sector, as most of the buildings in public secondary schools which were built for donkey years now haven't been rehabilitated or rebuilt, rather students learn under porous and "underconducive" environment.

This thread is not defend the state government's inability to renovate the school the OP sited as an example on that thread. But to clear things up as regard the highlighted statement quoted above.

Here are pictures of different public schools across Osun.

NB: The similar design and painting pattern shouldn't be mistaken as repetition of pictures.

I don't think there's a state in Nigeria without dilapidated public schools. What we have In osun might look bad, but we have not seen it all.

Some states public schools can't even be compared with a low budget poultry.

I knew it wouldn't have been that bad. On the assembly issue, it was for security reasons.

You are causing more harm than good by defending a failed government.

God bless Aregbesola....God bless the State of Osun....God bless Nigeria.

Wailers are always blind to developments like this.
They prefer been fed 2 cups of rice....than having the future of their generations to come secured.

But wait oo OP...what's your point exactly??

These good schools are in the minority, and they are the ones the government will keep referring to. What is the state of majority of the schools there?

Osun state has both the bad and good side of public schooling, just like we have in other states across the nation.

two sides of a coin, while the other thread focused on dillapidated structures, this focused on good infrastructure. Here is what is wrong with both threads: They are all perfect definition of what propaganda means, presenting one side of a story as truth!

Osun is still competing with northern states in all indices of education. Borno was ranked higher than Osun in the last WAEC ranking.

don't let the op decieve you. aregbesola indeed built mega schools but one in every local government.is that how it should be done? what will happen to the other dilapidated school structure? as small as my town(ikire) here is, i can count at least 8 public schools with very old buildings same as other towns around here(odeomu, gbongan, ipetumodu etc).is the man expecting those student in the suburb area to flock to his mega school with over 10 miles between them?
and for all those people that used to pass through osun when travelling, just take the lane linking gbongan to osogbo and any other road linking to the capital and i can assure you that you will regret doing that. the truth is, aregbesola constructed the roads that he knew will appease travellers, not those that will benefit the people of the state so that when those travellers get to their various destination, they will be saying that he tried wherease, he tricked them.

There are lots of renovated and newly built schools across the state, if everyone from each part of the state should start posting pictures I'm telling you this place will be full of pictures...most of the pictures posted by the OP is from Osogbo and that's not even all from Osogbo though all these don't mean aregbe is a saint he should pay salaries then we can now talk
