There's a difference between Speaking on something and speaking against something and also taking necessary drastic measures on curbing a menace.

You can believe what you like but I know PMD can never support an effective crackdown on murderous Fulani herdsmen.

The herdsmen crisis is not as clear-cut as some scoundrels blowing-up strategic pipelines is. You have Fulani in every part of the country. Is he going to declare war on an ethnic group over what some criminals are doing in select locations? The matter requires insightful strategic management.

So, it is not for the president to make an unguarded statement that will make things worse.

You guys should stop spreading misinformation. Buhari did not speak on Fulani herdsmen killings until over 300 were slaughtered in Agatu in Feb, and then he had to be forced to comment after Ayo Fayose accused him of not speaking b/c he is Fulani. The next time he spoke about herdsmen killings was after the Enugu State incident, after the governor went to see him about it. Wole Soyinka was forced to condemn Buhari's stance on the matter. While in London last week, he said it was "Nigerians fighting cattle rearers".
