FG Offers Amnesty To Bokoharam But Death Penalty To Kidnappers: Why? by Freegift75: 9:13pm On May 10, 2016
---------IS THIS NOT A JOKING COUNTRY?---------------

Federal Government grants Amnesty to Bokoharam members but Capital Punishment for KIDNAPPERS.

Chad grants Death penalty for Terrorists,
Somalia approves Death sentence for terrorists
US passed Death sentence for Terrorists
Egypt signed Death penalty for Terrorists

BUT NIGERIA GRANTS AMNESTY TO TERRORISTS

The devil incarnates that had claimed innocent lives unjustly now receive pardon.

WHAT IS THE JUSTIFICATION?

Worldwide, 93 countries still have capital punishment in their lawbooks. Of the 54 African countries, 36 have the death penalty, and 11 of them currently execute people (Botswana, Chad [only for
terrorism], Egypt, Equatorial Guinea, Ethiopia, The Gambia, Libya, Nigeria, Somalia, South Sudan, Sudan).

In a disturbing new trend, countries around the world are using the death penalty to tackle terrorism and internal instability, according to a new report by Amnesty International. Over all, worldwide, approximately 500 more death sentences were recorded in 2014 compared with 2013, Amnesty reports, with the biggest jumps occurring in Egypt and Nigeria.

ON May 5, 2016 9:00 AM /
By Henry Umoru & Joseph Erunke
ABUJA - THE Senate, yesterday, agreed to begin a
process for the enactment of a law that would
prescribe capital punishment for kidnappers across
the country.
The Senate also asked state governments to enact
laws that would prosecute kidnappers and other
crime-related offences in their jurisdiction and
recommended that the Inspector General of Police
and Director-General of the Department of State
Services, DSS, in particular as well as other security
agencies be encouraged to do more.

for kidnappers[/size]

Nigeria may soon have a law that will prescribe capital punishment for kidnappers. Kidnapping for ransom is becoming rampant in the country and the Nigerian Senate now says it will commence the process of enacting a law that will punish convicted kidnappers with the death penalty. But there is still no public agreement on the issue.

I just researched to discover that the penalty for RAPE is life imprisonment. Why is terrorist be pardoned?

The 800 bokoharam members they had committed series of gruesome murders, why amnesty?
