Several persons were injured and properties were destroyed yesterday May 15, 2016 in Ejigbo as two factions Agbole and Coker boys engaged in a free for all fight over fake spare parts.


According to reports, one of the Agbole boys bought auto spare parts from a Coker boy and after one week, the part was said to be faulty. The Agbole boy returned the part and demanded for a refund but the trader refused, this angered the Agbole boy who in turn brought some boys who attack the Coker boys destroying properties and injuring people.


The Coker boys also launched a reprisal attack on the Agbole boys.


According to Nation newspaper, it took the intervention of the security operatives and traditional rulers in the communities to restore calm to the area.


Some residents who said the clash has been on for the past six days, confirmed they had to put a call through to the Lagos State Police Complaints Units who responded swiftly and restored calm and normalcy to the area.


The residents also called on the Government to put an end to the activities of the hoodlums and their sponsors who go about causing problems in the communities.
