would have been sensible enough for this government to increase the minimum wages to #25k before increasing PMS to N145... the masses will at-least feel some sense of seriousness with this administration. Its appalling, disheartening, preposterous and ludicrous what we find ourselves in... simply put 'we are been RULED, not been LED'.

thay would hav acccused govt of taking back what they gave dubiously

why is PMB so headstrong? is it not clear that the people are against this decision at a time when he has failed to deliver most of his campaign promises. i voted for PMB cos GEJ was terrible at leadership and there was no better alternative. Where are sincere leaders in this country? Even Pst Tunde Bakare ia now in silence mode. You cannot fight the people and win. This is not NLC vs FG. It is Nigerians Vs APC leadership.

if u trust tunde bakare and Osinbajo the way me I do, then be rest assured they won't keep quiet if its not a goodnthing.
pls read Osinbajo profile and see what blessing nigerians have in that man. he would never ever be in a dubious thing. mind u, pdp tried desperatelly to bribe him with billions of dollars then and he rejected

Nice picture but I wont join any protest for some thieves to collect subsidy for the fuel which they will divert to the neighbouring countries to make more profit.
How did dey divert it? True Bluetooth? Where we're the security agencies at the border when the fuel was been diverted? This is govt incompetency playing out n they are deceiving ppl like u. If deregulation is implemented do this fuel will not stupid b diverted to other countries if the ppl over pay more? Guy open ur eye

The talk is on Fuel Price increase not subsidy removal.

We have been served several bitter pills prior to this.

The most painful to me is the increase in electricity tariff 'forced down our throat ' the same way APC government of deceit sell their CHANGE agenda. Instead of increased power supply it presently is as good as grounded.

....Gird your loins more bitter pills are soon to be released....

is it that hard to fish out the thieves? Or are we saying the government is not in charge? So you'd rather be punished while the 'thieves' make more profits from increased prices? Pls be wise, don't give up your income so easily to a bunch of rich politicians and their cronies.

Wither the make $1 = N1. Can it be that we missed out the zeros, PMB meant $1 = N 1,000?

ASUU and NLC are the most useless bodies I have seen. They have been striking since the time of Adam and Nigeria hasn't changed yet.

ASUU went on strike during Jonathan's regime because tetiary institutions were under funded and they weren't paid good salaries. Today, the universities are still underfunded. Some schools have a serious lecture hall problem. The only thing that came out of that strike is the salary increment. Talk about selfishness.

NLC going on strike each time they hear fuel subsidy removed is ridiculous. Do they expect the federal government to pay subsidy forever, do they want the federal government to keep paying subsidies till our grand chilldren inherit debts that would shock them and put them in a state of shock induced stroke?? Instead of them to fight for provision of palliatives to soften the initial effects of subsidy removal. They are fighting blindly, ableit selfishly for their own pockets again. And what's worse, some people are applauding them.

I do not understand how a country as big and diverse as Nigeria is faced with too many problems. Too many. Yet the only solution that comes to their limited thinking horizon is Strike.

Strike hasn't helped us, and we keep using it. Common sense evaded those in power truly.

i don't have problem with them striking for salary increment.na wetin concine dem be dat.students and parents will have to fight for their own.
my problem is how they foollishly strike for 3years after incumbent wins instead of 3 months to election(once one president loses election cos of ASUU strike they will be taken serious)

If Strike hasn't help us, as you have said...
What do you think is the right thing to be done?

Or Government is always right... All the time?

Or should we be more patient?

Or should we suffer in silence? And hope the next Government would be better?

What do you advocate for.. I am curious to know.

Thanks!!

Revolution. I advocate for removal of any leader that has failed. Strike may be useful in most countries. In Nigeria, we strike for unecessary reasons. And call it off without achieveing anything.

Good.
So how will the revolution possibly play out?

Who will be the spearhead? Opposition (PDP) or the masses (NLC)?

Or a coup d'etat?
