I graduated from the great University Of Benin in 2014 with a First Class (Hons) degree in Mathematics. finished my NYSC Programme and went back to my University last two weeks.
Wow! it wasn't an easy task. I was directed by my HOD to write straight to the Registrar office.

The vacancy in maths dept may not be readily available. Just do the needful and apply for other jobs (if age is still by your side). Scholarship application is readily accepted and gotten from 1st class candidates. Wish u d best at the labour market. Be courageous and strong

to my story:
So I had to meet people to link me up with the Registry department. That was how my "waka waka" started.
People advised me to meet top professors in the University who can easily influence the VC to confirm my appointment fast.
I initially planned to spend two days in school but ended up spending two weeks.
So, I started going from one Professor's office to another.

And? Please go straight to the point !

They took me as their Child and were so willing to help. I actually submitted my Application letter and Credentials with them. They gave me their Phone numbers and asked me to keep them reminded.
Trust me! I Keep sending Messages and making calls.

As it is now, its prayer things and to keep reminding the Scholars who promised to help me.
I have always wanted to be an academician myself. So, I See my result as a great opportunity for me to get started. I hope to be a Professor some day.
I am also trying some other Universities. especially, these newly established Federal Universities like FUOYE, FUKASHERE and others. I am not waiting for UNIBEN alone.
So, I brought my story here for people to link me up; advise me and all.
I know Nairaland is world wide. So I am typing to the world now.

It's same here bro. Also from a federal University. My HOD also asked me to write straight to the VC. I have done that few weeks ago, still trying to get other senior lecturers to stand in for me.
