First of all, the media hype that was given to the rescue of this girl was very silly, unprofessional on the part of the military and might endanger the lives of the 193 chibok girls who are still in boko haram captivity. I asked myself this question; instead of rescuing this girl{Amina Ali} from sambisa forest, why didn't the military put/inject some tracking device on the girl after confirming that she is truly one of the missing chibok girls, and then quietly send her back to her captors so that she will lead them{military} to the other missing chibok girls? Since from what the girl said, she was an escapee. This is what any professional military will do.

I know emotions are running high especially with the parents of these chibok girls, but I still believe rescuing the other girls that are alive is the major priority. This is entirely my own opinion, so people shouldn't read meanings into it.

Nevertheless, May God continue to bless our military and may the other chibok girls be reunited with their parents/guardians safely

Well, it's good to be naive. But insisting that you deliberately must be naive is gross.

I agree with you sir, everyone on our military is infinitely dumb or maybe daft not to know a textbook tactical operation.

No need for all these threads and media fair. The girls will be brought out by those keeping them.

Instead of waiting for their captors{whoever they might be} to release them, we could have just apply the basic military tactics in rescuing all the girls at once

bros I got your point but u should know she was not rescued alone, but along with over 100 of ppl in boko captive. am sure it was in d process of interviewing them to obtain information they realise she was one of the chibok girls... of cos you dont expect Army to start interviewing at the war front

I don't think whoever that is doing the interview will have a problem interviewing some rescued people, but the only problem might be with the ones that are traumatic. And this can still be corrected when the traumatized ones are back to their senses

Shouldn't your analysis alone tell you that the cooked-up rescue is a scam.

Would u send back your daughter with a tracking device and in the process bring back her worst nightmare?
