Hi peeps, I started this thread to initiate a conversation on being a stay at home mum...what are your experiences? It started off a bit difficult at first, but once I got the hang of juggling routines and the home it became easier. By the way would love to know the experiences of all Naija mums in the diaspora as well as in Naija. So to begin with....

Did you find it a challenge?
How did you cope with having to give up work to look after young children?

I worked for 5yrs before becoming a stay at home mom. For me, life at the work place is far easier than being a full time mom.

I totally understand where you are coming from...I gave up work too to stay at home full time, can be isolating though. You are doing great job ...well done

I must admit I miss having conversations with my peers, all I ever get is the constant demands, and tantrums from the children...lol! But I wouldn't change it for the world I accepted the reality and took every day as it came...of course trying as much as possible to enjoy too...is that possible? LOL!
