Has anyone travelled ok Kenya airways flight to johannesburg ? how is their connection ? i.e waiting period, Are you allow to leave the Airport ? is their a provision for refreshments or entertainment while you await connections ?
A direct flight would have been better but SAA is a bit costly at #134k Arik is cheap and direct at less than 100k but it's a no go area for me..

You should be fine with a 6 hour wait in Kenya, of course there are refreshments sold at the airport, Kenyans are friendly people so if you don't leave the airport you will be fine.
Incase you decide to leave the airport which I wouldnt recommend if you only have six hours, you might get caught up in Nairobis traffic and miss the flight,
I think a transit visa would be required at a fee, taxi cabs are available, you might get one to go sight seeing. Good luck

My experience on Kenya airways was splendid, the crew were courteous, the meal was sumptuous and the connection was seemless, despite missing our connection in Nairobi due to non availability of Aviation fuel in Lagos,KQ checked us into an hotel which is a standard in the industry, but you won't get that on Arik.i can bet my life on that, they paid for our transit visa at the immigration counter for us to be able to go to the hotel...Generally am highly impressed about their services,i will fly them many more time..I strongly recommend to anyone
