Hello All Nairalanders. Oga Seun please come to my rescue.

I'Ve been a member of Nairaland since 2006. My name is Mojisola Shobande, and my username on Nairaland is ENNYTHONG. I deal in cars and properties. I have so many adverts of cars and properties online, especially on Nairaland.

Yesterday, some fraudulent people hacked into my email account (ennythong@gmail.com). I usually signed into my Nairaland Account using this email address. Now I cannot access my account again, all because of the evil deed of these people.

They re-advertised cars and properties on my advert pages, at very ridiculous low prices in order to defraud people. Don't transact any business with them, doing so will be at your own risk. These are the numbers they are using on all the adverts I placed online: 07034742439, 07083918086 & 09035154940. Please beware.

Right now, am using somebody's Nairaland account to lodge the complain. I plead with Seun and other gurus in the house to please help me with another medium through which I can login into my Nairaland account aside using the email address I registered with, because I cannot afford to lose it.

Have you reported to Google that your account has been compromised? I'm afraid you can't retrieve your nairaland account without your registered email. Please contact Google and try to get back your account.

@OP... You gotta retrieve your email password first by contacting google... The only way they coulda hacked your account is if you click a link in your inbox or maybe your password is way too easy...


Nairaland cant do nada about your hacked Email... Worst case scenario is if they changed your google mail method of retrieving password by changing the security question and/or changing the phone number you registered with...


Anywayz, Just try and contact google by clicking the ''Forgot password'' button and check if you can retrieve your details... And if you are successful, try and make your password a bit more complex like using ''F%2mG6~Q9&''.... Also avoid clicking on suspicious links in your Inbox...

Go to gmail.com to reset your password to take back your acct. At the login page you will see "forgot password". Click on it, enter your email address and enter. At the next page click "i dont know" and follow the rest info to reset your password. Try logging out after reseting the password and login again with the new password. In the mean time oga seun and his mods could lock your nairaland acct to prevent fraud.

Try contacting google 4 d gmail b4 they reset it for you to their own default.
