Welcome Mitcyy

sophy09:

I will like to know if the olay eye roller works, my under eye is black and wrinkled. Will it help?

I just noticed this. Yeah, do check out some of the good brands for eye products. You might incorporate Neutrogena Healthy Skin AntiWrinkle cream into your regime. It's cheap and works beautifully. Years go by and your face remains almost the same.

Mary Kay liquid facial cleanser worked for me found out it cleans my face without dryin it up, try it and see my face boasted no acne during its use. The ENLIVEN range of shower gels heavenly especially the red apples n raspberry fragrance, so divine n u wld definitely always look forward to a bath, good for the skin too, no oily residue n cleans well.

My suggestion. . . . y'all should stop using all these products.

Since I stopped, never seen a pimples.

Simply use dudu osun to clean off the make-up with a facial sponge. Then moisturize jare [And exfoliate]. All these chemicals, as if the producers wants these problems to go away, you think them no wan continue to make money?

I agree, simplicity is the best for skin care. Mary Kay products are terrible for acne-prone skin types.

I wash my face and moisturise with regular store bought products and my skin has never been better. A study was done on high end products and they found out that they essentially contain the same ingredients as your local store products only difference is the name selling the high-end product. So girls you dont have to cut your arm and leg for skin care products.

So true. I think the only skincare brands that consistently give value for money is Neutrogena, Jergens, Olay regenerist and Philosophy. I can't do without Philosophy Hope in a Jar. There are really, really expensive brands that do zero for your skin or make it look tired.

DARK KNEES AND ELBOWS: SOME HOME-MADE SOLUTIONS
Pick any one, and see which works for you. Try it 2-4 times a week, depending on your skin type, till they're the same colour as your regular skin.

*Mix a paste of 1 tsp Vitamin E, 1 tsp lemon juice, 1 tsp glycerine, and 4 Tbsp milk. Massage and leave on dark knees and elbows for 15 minutes before washing off.
*Rub with lime or lemon juice, leave for 10-15 minutes. Soak a towel in hot water and scrub it on dark elbows and knees.
*Mix 1 tsp coconut oil and ½ tsp of lime or lemon juice. Do the same way with the hot towel.
*Right after shower, massage mustard oil on affected area. Rinse off with warm water.
*Make a paste of besan flour and lime juice and apply on elbows and knees. Leave on for 10-15 minutes and then wash it off.

@Poster,

O.P.I NAIL ENVY really is a marvel.

I normally keep my nails short, I use artist paints and cleaners so my nails split from time to time.

I've been using "NAIL ENVY" for the past few months, my nails are now too long, I may need to cut them (I file them once a week)

I agree with you hun, Clinique-3-step program and Marykay products were terrible for my skin. Now that I use simple products, I look better than ever.

hello ladies, im doing a review of 2 wonderful products i ve just come across: aveeno creamy moisturiing oil & aveeno moisturizing bar soap(fragrance free)
aveeno creamy moisturing oil:
1)Light body moisturizer for silky, soft skin
2)Fast-absorbing, non-greasy formula
3)Natural colloidal oatmeal and pure oat oil
4)Dermatologist-tested

REVIEW: this product is one of the best if not the best moisturizers that i ve used, been using it for abt 2 weeks and i must admit theres a huge difference in the softness & smoothness of my skin, its non greasy  like the label reads & it sure does moisturise my dry skin, though a bit pricey for a drug store brand & sometimes scarce compared to other aveeno products like i was told, this product ll leave your skin feeling silky & coming back for more, giving it 5 stars for delivering visible beautiful results, definitely a "KEEPER"

Aveeno Moisturizing Bar with Natural Colloidal Oatmeal for Dry Skin:
1)3.5-ounce bar
2)Cleanses and gently exfoliates skin
3)Contain natural oatmeal, a skin-softening moisturizer
4)Soap-free, hypoallergenic and noncomedogenic

REVIEW: ve had some rashes on my face for a while now, wasnt sure wat i reacted to, tried all sorts of things, was already getting frustrated until my aunty gave me this product which i started 2 days go morning & nite, its like magic, not only did it clear the rashes but made my face incredibly soft & smooth, comes highly recommended, its perfect for pple with sensitive skin,,,,,,,,another staple for me from AVEENO

@madlady: Is it a nail hardner? Sounds fabulous. It's either I have long, pretty nails and useless hands or short, stubby nails but functioning claws. @yjay: The best moisturiser you've used? I've heard of the brand but can't place it.

yeah i think so sha cos its a great moisturizer, aveeno has actually been around for ages & its actually one of the most popular drugstore brands around, they ve serums, cleansers etc
Re: Product Reviews: Stop Wasting Money! Beauty Products That Actually Work by Nobody: 1:32am On May 25, 2010
aveeno is one of the best brands, but rather expensive for that range.

Mad_Max, No it's a nail strengthener. I tried hardeners(sally hasen, miracle cure and the diamond ST) they made my nails brittle.

O.P.I. is a nail strengthener,it starts to work from almost the 1st week. This is my 1st bottle, take a look at the picture, you'll see
I've used less than a 1/4 (you can see my nails, they are almost talons embarassed).I previously kept them short (check profile pic).

@tubabie, where are you located. Even in the UK it seems hard to get. You can get it from QVC.

I bought mine from a genuine "O.P.I." seller on ebay. smiley
