Hi guys, I've tried all methods to change my phone imei still i get nothing. Can anyone help me with a solution?

My phone OS is lollipop 5.1

Lenovo vibe p1m. It keeps displaying this command is not allowed in userbuild. I have added space between AT+ and EGMR still no result.

Am also having d same issue,l enovo vibe p1m. It keeps displaying this command is not allowed in userbuild. I have added space between AT+ and EGMR still no result and I have rooted the fone.

Some device need to be rooted before you change the imei.

If you really need to change it ...Root your device with Kingroot

I'm having the same issue with my itel 1507, I'm rooted but can't change the imei with all the method I know.

Use CHAMELEPHON. Just type the name in Google they wil bring the app, download it and change ur imei no. It's very fast more than MOBILE UNCLE OR MTK ENGINEERING. thank me later

The space should be between 'AT and +' not 'AT+ and EGMR' . eg AT +EGMR..... also clear the space if any between the quotation marks and the desired IMEI number..

Put a space between the comma and the first quotation mark, that's all. No space between the At and +.

After Numerous tries to change my imei on Lenovo Vibe P1m here's what i discovered that worked.

Put a space in between any letters of EGMR.

E.g: AT+E|G|M|R=1,10,"358265016368596"
A space should be inputted where there's a "|" symbol.
Screenshot would be attached.
Root not needed.
