Here we look at the book of Nehemiah from the Bible that describe prayer and note their similarities to the way Muslims pray.


Nehemiah 8:4-6

4.And Ezra the scribe stood upon a pulpit of wood, which they had made for the purpose; and beside him stood Mattithiah, and Shema, and Anaiah, and Urijah, and Hilkiah, and Maaseiah, on his right hand; and on his left hand, Pedaiah, and Mishael, and Malchiah, and Hashum, and Hashbadana, Zechariah, and Meshullam.

5.And Ezra opened the book in the sight of all the people; (for he was above all the people and when he opened it, all the people stood up:

6.And Ezra blessed the Lord, the great God. And all the people answered, Amen, Amen, with lifting up their hands: and they bowed their heads, and worshipped the Lord with their faces to the ground.


Analysis

The verse showing the arrangement of Jamaa'h (congregation). Ezra, standing as the Imam and the people Behind the him are called Ma'mumin

and arrangement of the people is from right hand side then to the left side as it's been stated in the verse

Truth is 1 and has always been 1

Ezra being the Imam, he was above the people
The people stood up for the prayer just as Muslim do after the iqmah is pronounced ( qad qamatis salah )

verse 6.And Ezra blessed the Lord, the great God. And all the people answered, Amen, Amen, with lifting up their hands: and they bowed their heads, and worshipped the Lord with their faces to the ground.


Ezra blessed the Lord the Great God upon which the people behind him answered Amen.... Just as the Imam blesses the Lord with surah AL fathia, upon which the followers say "Amin" (Amen)

Yes islamic way of worship is mentioned in the bible and God declared it detestable.

Passage Ezekiel 8:15-17:
15 “Have you seen this?” he asked. “But I will show you even more detestable sins than these!”
16 Then he brought me into the inner courtyard of the Lord’s Temple. At the entrance to the sanctuary, between the entry room and the bronze altar, there were about twenty-five men with their backs to the sanctuary of the Lord. They were facing east, bowing low to the ground, worshiping the sun! 17 “Have you seen this, son of man?” he asked. “Is it nothing to the people of Judah that they commit these detestable sins, leading the whole nation into violence, thumbing their noses at me, and provoking my anger?
