I told a friend today that christians are no different from their muslim counterparts, and this thread further asserts my claim. A few days ago in Kano state, a woman was beheaded by muslims for not agreeing with their belief and pointing out it's inadequacies. Now a Christian just created a thread, throwing tantrums and labelling those that don't agree with his beliefs, as people possessed by evil spirits. What the OP just did is no different from what those muslims did. Not only is he insulting everyone who opposes his belief, he is also relegating them to a position of demonic possessed sub-humans.

Now, before these Islamists are able to commit such gruesome murders, what they do is that they first dehumanize the other person. They begin to view the intended victim as being less than human, and when they are able to successfully create a perception of such person as sub-human, killing the person becomes easier, since to them, such person isn't actually a person.

The OP has already successfully dehumanized atheists. What's left now is for him to wield a dagger and kill every athiest he can find. But why hasn't he done this? It's not because he has an inherent moral constitution that doesn't permit that. No, it's simply because his religious doctrine doesn't permit it, because what forms his moral constitution is fundamentally the words of his religious book. If the new testament, from which present day christians draw most of their doctrines permits murder, I can bet that christians would be killing everyday, even more than muslims. But the bible did actually permit murder in the old testament, and all the books therein are littered with thousands of killings in the name of God. Even in recent times, the christian church has endorsed killings of atheists, agnostics, pagans and unbelievers.

When someone becomes angry just because someone else questions and appraises his belief, up to the point that he insults them, then it means there is really a problem with such belief. When you paint a certain system of belief as the truth, then you should be confident it is the truth and welcome any external form of appraisal, instead of resorting to calling them names and being evasive.

The OP claims that atheists are physiologically insane. In my opinion, this is irony at it's finest, because no psychologically sane person would accept a system of belief without any proof whatsoever, and violently oppose anyone who questions that belief.
