Lost Vehicle Duty by babagana(m): 4:29pm On Jun 09, 2016
I bought a car from someone and did not realise I was not given the duty of the car. I tried to contact the person but now that I am at the mercy of the seller, she never bothered and eventually left the country for overseas. I am left with a car without custom duty though it is duly registered.

I tried to obtain the copy of the duty through the vehicle licensing and registration office, but I could not get the right help. No one seems to want to assist as they give me excuses that the reference documents have been evacuated from the office the vehicle was originally registered to somewhere. I have been spending all through.

I am left with no option but to obtain a new vehicle duty from the customs and pay for another duty it seems.

Anyone with ideas what I should do please.
