According to the figures being bandied and trending on many Facebook threads, Buhari's treatment cost Nigeria £50 million! I read one earlier claiming £6 million but my good Lord how can so many people in Nigeria be so imbecilely inclined?!

Even if Buhari's vital body organs like kidneys, eyes, lungs, liver, pancreas, hip disc, etc had been harvested and replaced with brand-new ones, how can anyone still with their senses believe such nonsense as a £50 million charge?!

I would bet most Nigerians, for whatever bizarre reasons but relating to the loss of Jonathan at the last Presidential polls have (geometrically) relapsed into mental feebleness and incapacity. If not so, how can a man of over 60 years old, a graduate, married with many children and lives in Port-Harcourt make a comment like this: "£50 million for one ear, more are coming!"
