Just like magic I stopped hearing anything about PDP in Edo even up to the extent that they are not even warming up for the upcoming gubernatorial elections.

I'm shocked really cos as of last two years there seemed to be a lot of noise against Oshiomole. I was even about saying goodbye to APC there sef then all of a sudden I stopped hearing a word from PDP.

Pls does anyone know what happened?

A party which consciously makes the character of Ali mod as national chairman shud xpect pple to run from them. State wise, pdp members don't ve the money to engage in futile exercise.

You are not hearing about PDP because greed and accumulated wickedness has killed the party. This is a party that has constantly and systematically robbed every state it manages to successfully rig an election to win. The party is in disarray because Igbinedion (the former governor) raped and pillaged Edo state without mercy thereby plunging the state into new depths of poverty. It is difficult for people to forget. Also, since ACN/APC came into power, PDP members decamped like rats in a sinking ship.
Oshiomole worked for one term and used his second term to steal all the money he couldn't take the first time. He shrewdly rigged the State House of Assembly elections, jacked up taxes, abandoned projects and brought foreign investment in the form of a foreign wife.
However now that APC need to go, PDP is nowhere to be found because the party has already been ruined by greed.
Summary-PDP and APC are both demonic parties sucking the people dry. The current inept party cannot be evicted because the former party is unable to recover from the cancer of its greed. It is a continous malignant circle of suffering and backwardness for the people.

hmmm, you can't compare a dead Oshiomole to all living PDP in Edo......n it is unfair n lack of education to make grave allegation of stealing without an iota of a verifiable evidence given our FOI status presently in Nigeria.....be that as it may, Oshiomole is a political maestro whose performance alone would always nail PDP to its cross of deceptive non performance any day,any time in Edo. PDP's greatest undoing is tying its destiny to Anenih last line: ethnic card . people who know nothing abt politics would come here and say edo is niger delta, niger delta is pdp.

fact is in ths election, pdp is going into it depleted only iota dan orbih(pdp chairman)has been boasting about was pdp at fg then and the fact they were notorious for sinking fg money into elections.

just as its happening at wadata nobody including anenih wants to put their loot into what they arent sure of.

the two candidates are binis and its boils down to pdp winning the smallest senatorial district(esan)as usual. And apc winning the north(afemai)due to oshiomole and what afemai benefited frm him. While the two party would share bini, but with apc winning bini with the palace support for it etc. The apc has over 20contestants and major names like ogiewonyi,imasuen,charles,osunbor etc would work with apc due to corruption tag on them

Apc killed pdp using daura secret service n efcc to arrest its aspirants using corruption but will of God will prevail in Edo n Nigeria
