Having seen a friend purchase this car steering and pedal lock, for the security of his car, I went to buy mine for the same security purpose without checking out the effectiveness.

Please I will be very grateful if anybody in the house who has got an experience on the usage of this pedal lock can tell me the advantages and disadvantages or its effectiveness.

Very effective. If u doubt me, lock ur steering. Throw away d key and try cutting it.

Though i cant say is 100% effective, but is very effective. It discourage car theft, make sure u use it oh.

Go to Attach the welder, tell him to construct a strong pedal lock and a steering lock, it may have a rough finish in appearance, but when you use Heavy duty high security padlocks to lock it even car snatchers will curse you for spoiling their market

I think its a very effective tool to slow down a less determined car thief.

There are only 2 ways to steal a car that has this lock, cutting the shaft or unlocking it with a master key. I think, the key is beatable if given time and convenience.

I drive a car with a transponder key, i believe there are only 2 ways to steal the car. That is by swapping the ECU with a jail broken one or by a towing van. In most cases, the car dealer always makes a duplicate key before selling to an unsuspecting customer and picked back anytime within a flash. A mechanic or a friend could have access to duplicate the key too.

One sure way of slowing them down is the pedal/steering lock.
