The last time I saw electricity supply to Ijeshatedo in Surulere was some months ago. Yesterday, they flashed it for 50 sec wanting us to assume that the supply is faulty.

The last time I paid bill was in March this year because the community voice asked the distribution company to install prepaid meters in the community and the distribution company said that metering the community will be done in 2019 and the face-off began.

Only God knows when electricity would be restored to the area.

Power supply has improved in my part of the FCT. We get for 13-18 hours a day. Which is a marked improvement over the 2-6 hours a day we got two weeks ago.

In my opinion, however, it is not yet uhuru. We have a lot of work to be done on the power sector before we acheive 24 hours power supply, and privatisation is the first step. Nigerians too have to play our part by paying bills, and not vandalizing power supply equipment, and not beating up DISCO officials who come to do their duty. DISCOS too have to speed up the metering thing...this estimated billing is a big bother.

The main bulk of the job is in transmission and generation....and if we have to get 24 hours a day....we have to improve those two things. And I forsee a lot of fixing up needed to be done. We need to get to at least 30000MW before we see 24/7 power supply.

In my part of Delta state, near Asaba, we've had 24 hours of light for the past 4 months. I can charge my phone anytime, and mosquitoes don't chop me at night since the fan is always on. We're on 100% Solar only, no gen, and we are not connected to any NEPA pole.

At least for the forseeable future, I'm immune to all this PHCN, disco, NDA, fuel scarcity talk, at least as it concerns my home sha.

In this my house the only way you will know there was light is by leaving your fridge on, Anytime you are back from work, all those house wife neighbors will tell you there was power supply all through the day, it's as if Nepa knows when I return from work, because they will not even flash it till I go out in the morning, Wash Rinse and repeat since change catch our electricity.

During GEJ tenure when there was power improvement, haters claimed it was high water level or something. Well we're well into rainy season and all we have to show is total darkness.

Power supply is nothing to write home about here in A town, Anambra state.

here in lokoja for more than a week approximately 14days now and still counting we don't have light trying to know what went wrong resulting to this power outage like never before, I was told that the pipeline that supplies gas to the power stations to enable them supply light was bombed by Niger Delta Avengers though don't know how true it affected all the nation including Lagos, Abuja, portharcourt, Enugu and the rest so, how is the current power outage in your area? have you had light for the past 1week if yes,how frequent is it?

Has anyone noticed that those apc fans who were calling for GEJ's head because of some hours of blackout are all of a sudden very 'comfortable' with days of total uninterrupted blackout.
Isn't that hypocrisy?
The people who were enraged when the price of fuel was reduced from N97 to N87 by GEJ,stating that the reduction wasn't enough now comfortable with an increase to N145 even with the huge fall in the price of oil in the international market.
I still want to know the juju that apc used to effect this kind of zombeism(inability to think independently and objectively). Tinubu will know more about that dept.
