Emeka Ugwuonye..........The Due Process Advocates (DPA)
HOW FAST THINGS HAVE CHANGED!
This time last year, the predominant view of Nigerians was
how Buhari would transform Nigeria and save the country
from itself. But today, the b predominant view is how
Nigeria could be saved from Buhari.
In a country with the world's worst healthcare system, how
could you fire 16000 medical doctors from the public health
sector? And how could you do that when the Minister of
labour is a medical doctor?
How could Nigeria move the hands of the clock of
civilization back to military dictatorship where we freeze
people's bank accounts on the whims of a government
official without due process.
And worse still, how could all this be happening and the
average educated person remains undisturbed and
unaware? |
