Those referring Buhari as dictator will surely eat their words. A good leader must always ready to listen to the yearning of his people and that is what Buhari is currently doing. But sentiment and tribalism will never allow some to see good deeds of this man. We should stop crying over a split milk cos Gej is already the past tense and will forever remain there. The future is with Buhari and that is why we voted him there.
Nice submission Zico, may God inrease your sense of reasoning...meanwhile

All these "Umbrella Cap" leaders of Niger Delta only wanna have their own share of the National Cake.. They have no Clue of Solving the NDA agitations.

That's the simple truth!!!
Some people think they can sit in the comfort of their houses behind their phones and support the president on this issue without accessing the troubled region to see things themselves..

President Muhammadu Buhari says his administration would rebuild Nigeria, including the Niger Delta region, and therefore solicits patience and understanding from the citizenry.

Receiving a delegation of Niger Delta Dialogue and Contact Group, led by His Royal Highness, King Alfred Diette-Spiff, the Amanyanabo of Twon Brass, Bayelsa State, at State House, Abuja, Thursday, President Buhari pledged that under his watch Nigeria will witness judicious utilization of resources.

"We intend to rebuild this country; so that our children and grand-children will have a good place they can call their own. A lot of damage has been done, so I want you to tell the people to be patient.

"When you get together with other leaders, please pacify the people. We will utilize the resources of Nigeria with integrity and rebuild the country."

The President said the gazette on the Niger Delta amnesty programme by the Umaru Yar'Adua administration is being studied with a view to determining what had been fulfilled, promising that whatever is left would equally be addressed.

"I want to get as much intelligence as possible on the situation in the Niger Delta. I have encouraged law enforcement agencies to contact leaders like you in order to have enough information to deal with the issues once and for all, “the President said.

He sympathized with investors who borrowed lots of money to invest in the Niger Delta region and have not recouped their investments due to insecurity.

He used the occasion of his audience with the Group to reiterate his appeal to those who perpetrate violence to embrace peace and give government a chance.

The leader of the Group, King Alfred Diette-Spiff, said the group was made of peace builders, dedicated to peace and stability in the region.

I hope now you people that thought that your Sai Baba cannot be tamed from a dictator to a civil man may be disappointed. Good move from Buhari. My SW brothers will give God thanks for this because the militants has already crushing them especially in ikorodu/ Lagos/ Ogun. Let them thank their stars

I wanted to open a water factory that will employ over 100 people that will earn more than two times the minimum wage in addition to allowances in Delta but was discouraged due to their habit of kidnapping and forceful collection of money from investors.
If they can drop such habits, I am quite certain that investors will flood there

Every Nation Big & Small take pride in their military strength, except some Nigerians. People like you are always happy when you hear Militants over power your military. Wait till Ghana or Cameroon Army threaten war against your country, then you will know how important it is to always appreciate your Army. Maybe you will be seeking refugee status in Cotonou by then. Shame

Abegi Oga. I campaigned with all I got for Buhari and it is sad to say he is dictatorial and sectional. Everything is clear to see. As I speak, I don't know Buharis plan for Nigeria but it seems there is a sectional hidden agenda. Else his appointments won't be so skewed and he won't give a damn. He is not dialoging with the ND because he wants to. He is doing it because he has to. I think the zombies pushed him along for too long that he had some body language magic and he was the new Sheriff in town stuff. That is how he got where he is now. Don't forget the same man had ordered the Airforce to move to the ND which they did. And zombies were all happy that PMB would bomb them out. I wonder where the eventual sense came from?

He has showed zero strategy as the president and I wonder y. He picks sectional favouritism over national progress. Can u tell me how d eagerness to serve one section makes this country any money? The only revenue center the country has is the ND. Most regions as far as federal revenue is concerned are cost centers. Yet u call them d 5% and u owe them little . We loose 300 billion naira monthly from this mess. If that one month loss was channeled to the budget of ND, dem for keep quiet. Yet, u watched things deteriorate to this level while still campaigning d APC way that the avengers are products of leaders who didn't want to be investigated for corruption. Now u meet them to discuss? In other words, I accept d terms now after wasting one year losing revenue.

I had to comment because zombies are really forgetfull. Buhari is listening because he has his back to the wall. Not because he cares to. He refused to listen for the past one year which is y he had d guts to make the 97% comment. It is obvious d 97% do not make any money and the reality has hit him. Please stop giving Buhari credit for being democratic. This is the height of being a dictator. He cannot change as we have seen. We just pray God keeps loving Nigeria and keeps us alive. This body language has caused more harm than good for all of us. We have lost so much in revenue, productivity and resource utilization in just one year. He is super comfortable around d people of his region and religion. His choice to work with others is purely political and unavoidable. Realize this is his first meeting with any ND leadership and it does not look well attended. If he can blow the people seated with him and still get d oil, that meeting no go happen. Let's think Nigeria first oh. A sectionally biased leader is a no no. And this man is stuck in his ways oh. Remember, I was a staunch believer in d change mantra but this is going no where if out Oga remains sectionally biased.
