it's a fantastic idea from the federal government but it's merely a pipe dream to me. I see it as a fanciful illusory diversionary tactics by the government. 1 Like |

MIKOLOWISKA: MTN and DStv started operations in Lagos and Abuja and not Bayelsa and Delta. Later, they expanded and then took the risk and invested profits made in Lagos and Abuja in the South South. No company will invest in terrorists' zone. Even you, why is your company in Lagos and not in Amassoma or Okrika. Don't you wonder why Asari Dokuboh built his private university in Benin Republic instead of his home town Kalabari ? 5 Likes |

MIKOLOWISKA: If Benin republic had a stable democracy and a population of 300 million in 2001, do you think MTN and DSTV would have preferred Nigeria? In this case, investors have a better option in the same neighborhood. That said, this is spanning across all the ND states from Ondo to Akwa Ibom . . . the rest 7 states would be fine, it is up to Bayelsa and Delta to decide to grow up or not (it's funny how this 2 states think it's all about them though when oil is mentioned, they are not even the top 2 states in production nor reserves). BTW, what is your definition of a 'pariah nation', and how is Nigeria a pariah nation? 2 Likes |

Industrial park in a war zone is another means for our brothers to siphon funds.....The lands will first be sold out to the high and mighty to resell at there own price ,thus No startup industralist will move to that zone making it a big wash... It is one thing to have industrial park, it is another thing for investors to be willing to invest there in the face of militancy, bombing, insecurity, kidnapping, cultism and unrestiveness. Dokubo should invest in the region first before others can follow suit. 1 Like |
