Promoting Agriculture in Edo State.

The introduction of Technology in Agriculture will be the top priority in our government just as small scale, large scale commercial farming and the processing of farm produce is given the needed empowerment.
Processing and Value addition,packaging and marketing,provision of improved seeds for improved yield and access to micro credit shall be encouraged.

Young graduates and School leavers will be trained as agriprenuers to take advantage of the several opportunities that would be created in our robust agricultural value chain.

We shall set up in-farm housing units in the three senatorial districts of Edo State,setting up processing facilities with the sole intent to produce local and international markets and thereby diversifying and boosting the states revenue base through proceeds from agricultural produce.

We all know that Agriculture is a sector every country wants to key in and POI will surely bring this fruition in Edo state.

Russia, like Edo are oil producing areas. But Russia just announced it wants to move away from solely benefitting from oil into Agriculture. This revolution can start in Edo and ONLY with POI!

Yea, he is a Farmer. Who else will move Edo away from oil only to agriculture if not a farmer like Ize-Iyamu.

Diversification no be by mouth but by actions. As an experienced farmer, Ize-Iyamu has the will and the technical know-how to steer the state out of hunger and poverty inflicted on it by Oshiomole and APC. Voting a non-farmer like Obaseki as governor in this trying times is a waste of vote.

Before you thumbprint, spare a minute to think about all the poor people sleeping without food, then remember that Ize-Iyamu is a farmer.
