#TheFutureIsNow, yesterday emerged the number 1 trending hash tag in Nigeria as monitored on Twitter.

According to a release yesterday by Trendmap, an Abuja-based trends mapping organisation, #TakeTheFuture emerged the top ranking trending hashtag in Nigeria. Trendmap is the foremost trend mapping organization in Nigeria and their report is independent ad based on Twitter rating.

Similarly, in a tracking done by POI Social Media House led by Mr Efe Igbinovia, the ranking of #TakeTheFuture as number 1 in Nigeria was corroborated.

#TakeTheFuture is one of the official slogans of the Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu gubernatorial campaign. Yesterday, most people on social media, especially Facebook and Twitter shared and tweeted the hash tag across the social media platforms to flag off the gubernatorial campaign of Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu under the People’s Democratic Party.

[size=13pt] [b]It can never work in Edo State, if Oshiomole thinks he can use federal might to win the election, he will be disappointed on 10th of September, most of the APC leaders in Edo State are working for Ize Iyamu, they have refused to accept Obaseki as their candidate because of the way Oshiomole imposed him on Edo State APC, they have refused to decamp, they are just waiting to wreck havock to APC on 10 the of September and defect back to PDP which they left in 2007 to form APC in those days, this was what played out in Bayelsa State Governorship election where APC members and their leaders worked for the victory of Governor Seriake Dckson of the PDP against their own APC candidate Timpereye Slyvia bcasue Slyvia imposed himself as the Bayelsa APC candidat.
Even the NationalChairman of APC John Oyegun and the Deputy Governor of Edo State John Odubu, have refused to align or support Obaseki candidacy, but their political groups are secretly campaigning and strategizing for Pastor Ize Iyamu of the PDP.
The Obaseki of a guy has no grassroot support or structures across Edo State.
