3.Praises/thanksgiving are traits of true winners: I’ve never seen a church that praises God like Winners’ Chapel!!! So many members have received instant healing on a Sunday service, during praises...... Indeed, there is God in Living Faith Church.

Op, with all due respect, I can't find the main purpose of the church (salvation and eternal life) in ur write up!

I respect Baba Oyedepo but the above is one reason for me to stop attending LFC!

Also, last I checked, my widowed neighbour(Sanctuary keeper in LFC) could not afford the fees for her son to be in LFC sec. Sch which was supposed to be missionary school, I don't even want to mention Convenant Uni!!

I think the church need to re-evaluate her purpose and vission!!

My people, one consistent message of the Lord Jesus Christ was "repent and believe the gospel". The Apostles carried on the same message. Any church or ministry should as a minimum, check how frequent and fervent it preaches repentance from sin and practical Christian living. I mean radical separation from sin, immorality, stealing from government/companies, adultery, corruption, bribery, fornication, lying, worldliness, materialism, indecency and immodest dressing, homosexuality, lesbianism, examination malpractices etc.

Op, Papa is a man i respect, but i honestly think you shouldnt come and preach church rather preach Jesus Christ. His message of salvation to the lost, hope for the hopeless, deliverance to the captives etc. I am proud member of RCCG, but my prayer is that every church denomonations grow in the fear and knowledge of God through Christ Jesus. First and most, it is against the gospel of Christ to emphasize any other thing apart from salvation from sin and faith in Christ. The love of God, the grace of God, faith, prosperity, healing , deliverance, breakthrough, miracles and other benefits are all biblical and should be preached as the occasion demands but to make any of them the cardinal doctrine or point of emphasis of any Assembly, Church, Commission or Ministry is highly misplaced. Secondly, I have a colleague who has been attending Winners Chapel with the family for years. She confesses all this faith stuff. Yet, she comes to me from time to time for financial assistance. (I am saying this because you don't know me neither do you know her. So its not that I want to boast or expose her). Apparently, you are not yet in the right place of worship. Make sure you genuinely repent from your sins and make Christ your personal Lord and Saviour and look for a Church where all the truth is preached with emphasis on being eligible for heaven and practical right living as taught by Christ and His immediate disciples.
