It was a good day for the country’s first family as one of the daughters of President Muhammadu Buhari, Halima Buhari was called to bar today, July 14.

Her mother, Aisha Buhari, was in attendance at the call to bar ceremony which held in Abuja.

Call to bar is a legal term of art in most common law jurisdictions where an individual is sworn or entered into a law society or state bar or court and thereafter licensed to practise law in that jurisdiction.

The daughter and son of Buhari,
Zahra and Yusuf, recently graduated from the University of Surrey, Guildford, England, United Kingdom.
