Please mods help to push this to front page. I invested about 3million naira in Aims Asset management company under their individual retirement scheme for a period of 5years which elapsed in 2013. I have been to their office several times and they have simply refused to pay me back my Investment after requesting that the money be paid several times. I am frustrated and tired of going to their office like a beggar for my own money. Unfortunately,I lost my job since 2014 and this investment is needed by me to start up a business. How do I go about this issue to make them pay me Asap.I am seriously disturbed over this issue.cc lalasticlala and ishilove.

This aims asset eeehn! My own issue with them is that they refuse to send me statement of account for over 2 years now.I keep calling and they keep posting me.At a point I wanted to forget about the investment because it isnt much but at another thought I remembered how I managed to make those little investment as a student in the higher institution.It wasn't easy at all.

This same aims asset management company is holding my husband's money and refused to accept the letter of termination of investment he took there twice. They are unreliable as far as I'm concerned.Nobody has ever said anything good concerning them.

Read up the terms of agreement you had with them. If u are sure they have defaulted, report the matter to Securities & Exchange Commission (SEC).

There is also cpd@cbn.gov.ng that handles complaints against banks, am not sure if they also directly oversee these type of financial institutions.

Run away from them o...I did investment with them in 2010 and my luck was that I recouped my principal after a dogged fight with them that lasted for a year with threat to burn down their office and all that.

The final day to pay me,I met another investor unmounting their TV sets and other electronics to take home as they have refused to pay him.

Mind you,I invested as a student back then.

This is a serious matter o.Then that company needs to be reported for fraud

All this is due to the ignorance of investors in Nigeria, if you want to invest with an asset management firm, check out their board of directors, their agusto rating etc.
The only credible ones so far is investment one Ltd, and cardinal stone. Others include diamond securities, meristem and Fbn .

I also invested back then as a student. My money matured since April 2014. They keep telling me one story or the other. What do I do?

how far with your investment in aims asset? I have some thousands with them. where is their office in lagos?

Should anyone succeed in getting their monies back from Aims Asset Management, kindly inform the concern audience on the "how".
