Why Is Shoprite Onitsha Always Crowded? (pics) by Samakus(m): 5:02pm On Jul 19, 2016 |
Following the completion and opening of Shoprite in Onitsha, it has been observed that the business premises of Shoprite Onitsha is always crowded. The question is why? Other locations of Shoprite in Nigeria are not as crowded as the newly opened Shoprite in Onitsha despite the city hosting the biggest market in West Africa, the Onitsha main market. As shared by a Facebook user, Adaobi Ekemezie Igwe, with the comment.."Please can someone tell Onitsha people dat Shoprite is not Main Market.. Ogini na afio. Looks like adoration ground. lol Even no space for selfie". The kind of 'mammoth' crowd that troops into Shoprite Onitsha makes it very stuffy and uncomfortable for shoppers. Is it down to 'Onitsha main market mentality' of the residents or just pure ecstasy about the new shopping complex? Your views..

It's shoprite's joy now, I will want my company to be as crowded as that too. It's business. |

So much pickpockets and shoplifting will thrive well in such crowded places. Hope shoprite won't record losses over there? |
