2 is so ok. My first reason is definitely the economy, things are on the increase by the second as such I like my father will love to make sure I give my kids all they need in life. That way they will neva lack even if I don't have plenty or I am not rich. my second reason is that I don't and can't stand risk my wife life more than twice in the ever complicated child bearing process. In fact I would even prefer twins and just end the matter of child bearing

With or without the economy, common sense entails that individuals give birth to number of children they can ADEQUATELY take care of. Giving them the best education, health care, nurturing etc. Unless you are a Tony Elumelu.

2 kids, after which the man should undergo a vasectomy and the lady a hysterectomy.

Depends on your capabilities and how many you want. Give birth to the number of children you can adequately take care of.
But poor people can born o, people that have enough resources sef will have just about 3 and someone that isn't sure what they'll eat will have a football team.
