Hello people, got this issue on my mind, but can't really tell what going on . dated this girl for some months, eventually unresolved issues like lies, cheating (on her part) made us go separate ways. we are now just close friends. The issue is I don't have any feeling towards her again, I even rejected having sex with her the last time she made such attempt. I know she is in another relationship, but I can't help watching her be in need, she invited me to her birthday sometime ago, I went along with few friends, I gave her cash, she calls me when she is in need, and I always feel this strong urge to assist her even though we ain't dating again. Just last week, she was admitted for some serious illness. I felt worried, checked the hospital, offset some bills, left some cash, and call every now and then to know if she is OK. Fact is am not really into her, because even if she goes stark naked I will not touch her, just like I did sometime ago, am not into going back to date an ex. I love moving ahead. Secondly, I have come to discover I have this attitude of always trying to help out an ex whenever they need my help (any girl I have dated, I always feel like helping whenever she is in need) Pls house I have asked myself, I no fit answer. raayah:Its not about being used. No one force me to act. I willingly do it, and don't miss the part that I always feel the urge to help out an Ex. Its not me being a maga. For example, last month I met with a friend of one of my ex (mercy) we dated 2012, was in port Harcourt then . I asked after her, and got to know she wasn't doing to well, had problems with her final years second semester school fees. I know she lost her dad last year February. I got her number, put a call to her, after some long talk I asked after her school activities. she didn't even mention money issue, but at the end I asked her to send her account number to me that the country is hard and would like to help out . I did all these without her asking, it couldn't have been planned because her friend I met would never have believed she would see me in Makurdi because the all know am based in Abuja based on our last conversation over a year ago. So my dear, am just asking is something wrong with me?? N.B : Same thing applies to my male friends too, I can't have an say no to them. My friends are brothers to me. |

I know many would not understand but that's just me. I may be walking down the road, and someone walks up to me and say he/she have not eaten. I will make sure I find a joint so that the person can eat. This often makes me unable to save, and sometimes even run out of cash, but I thank God I still live a comfortable life.
