Yesterday morning, while I was at Central area of Abuja, I had some heavy files to download, so I subscribed to Ntel 2 days plan for just N1000 since it's unlimited access. On my way back home (KuchiKau) I said to myself, let me enjoy my subscription before reaching Mararaba because that was the last place the network coverage reached when it was launched (#TeamPioneer), but to my surprise the reception was strong when I got to Orange Market, Ado, New Nyanya, Gwandara, Area 1, Upto Masaka, where I later accepted finally was when I got to KuchiKau. Signal Strength still Okay.

With this new development, offices & individuals of these regions can now also enjoy Unlimited internet access.

All you need is a 4G compatible device (Phone or Modem), if you own a Spectranet modem or any other network, it can be unlocked to enjoy this.

I believe they would definitely do so because some of my clients in Kubwa are presently using it.

This is great news. How do i get the NTEL SIM Card and how do i unlock my spectranet device? it is useless to my now since i can't open a page since January 2016..

Visit any of their outlet (I got mine at Transcorp hotel lobby but there's a new office now adjacent bannex plaza. The SIM is free but you would need to activate any of their plan.

Call me via the contact on my signature for the unlocking.

Both are good for the mentioned features,
Both coverages spans across your choice of location,

BUT Spectranet has a fair usage policy where you only have 60GB or 100GB threshold on their alleged unlimited plan while Ntel's unlimited plan is truly unlimited even though they claim their is fair usage policy, I still pull over 500GB monthly

whoa that is great,thanks for your reply.i guess i will go for ntel but the problem is that their mifi is damn expensive when compare to spectranet,if i can find a universal mifi for cheap then i might just buy ntel but if i dont,i will have to go for spectranet.

any advice on where to get universal mifi that supports 4g and lte?

Also does the spectranet free night and weekend browsing really free or they throttle the speed in their free packages?

i called ntel and i was told i could get the ntel hauwei mifi for 26,000 plus 1 month unlimited internet while notion mifi for 21,000 with one month unlimited internet

hauwei is 4G FDD-LTE while notion is TD-LTE/FDD-LTE/CDMA/WCDMA/GSM

i think hauwei is better choice but i am not yet to decide.

That's the unfortunate part, their MiFi can't be unlocked

AFAIK, ntel's MiFi's come already unlocked, it will now be a case of whether or not the other bands they support, if any, will be useful for your purpose. But please don't depend solely on my word for all of ntel's devices coming already unlocked ... @dustmalik has a much better handle on most things network/modem/MiFi in use in and around Abuja, so please ask him first, to be sure. (I'm based in Lagos.)
