Ribadu's Visit To Gani Fawehinmi-photospeak For Police IG Onovo by gestapo(f): 2:30am On Sep 18, 2009 |
Former EFCC chairman, Nuhu Ribadu sneaked into Nigeria to visit the family of late human rights lawyer, Chief Gani Fawehinmi. His controversial visit has become a security nightmare as the federal authorities in Nigeria continues to investigate his manner of entry and exit. Saharareporters obtained exclusive photos of the visi to Gani Fawehinmi's family in Lagos. The inspector general of the Nigerian police, Ogbonaya Onovo earlier today, at a press conference, denied that Ribadu visited Gani's house. He challenged anyone with photographs of the visit to show it to the public.

Re: Ribadu's Visit To Gani Fawehinmi-photospeak For Police IG Onovo by presido1: 7:58am On Sep 18, 2009 |
Ribadu had arrived the house of the late legal icon, at about 6:45 pm Thursday in company of his lawyer Mr. Femi Falana to pay his last respects and to condole the family of the deceased. Culled from: https://www.nairaland.com/nigeria/topic-322965.0.html But checking the clock on the wall show some minutes to 9 or 9 on the dot (AM OR PM). I assume its 9am as the day is still bright to be 9pm for the first picture. Again is it not too bright to be be 6.45pm assuming he took the pictures immediately they arrived which is unlikely. Am not saying he did not come to Nigeria but something smells from the two publications. |
Re: Ribadu's Visit To Gani Fawehinmi-photospeak For Police IG Onovo by Gbawe: 8:52am On Sep 18, 2009 |
mbulela: No better way to put it.Onovo is just another PDP 'tool' like Akunyili, Iwu, Anenih, et al . Once again, Nigeria gains another biased servant of the ruling Party in a very important office that should ordinarily be occupied only by impartial men and women of incorruptible integrity. We now know not to expect Onovo to be different to the three before him i.e Okiri, Ehindero and Balogun. Come 2011 , working in tandem with Akunyili and Iwu as Okiro did in Ekiti, Onovo will use the NPF to rig the PDP in everywhere . What a shame . |

@presido clocks do not malfunction? Check all the publications on the story and see if the reports tally otherwise shut-up. |
Re: Ribadu's Visit To Gani Fawehinmi-photospeak For Police IG Onovo by presido1: 9:04am On Sep 18, 2009 |
Eagle1:I have checked the reports and it did not tally thatz why i posted my observation and you are telling me to shut up. You can come and shut me up if you have the guts. Counter my observations with fact and not useless malfunction of the clock.(Did the Clock die with Gani) and stop being lazy like the journalist that feed you people crap. If clock malfunction do the weather malfunctions as well. Look through the curtain is that how bright 6.45pm is in Nigeria? Why can't you reason with your brain or do you lack one? |
Re: Ribadu's Visit To Gani Fawehinmi-photospeak For Police IG Onovo by Gbawe: 9:12am On Sep 18, 2009 |
presido1: Let us forget the weather or faulty clocks. Falana has branded Onovo a liar . The Lagos-based Lawyer physically accompanied Ribadu to the home of Gani: http://www.tribune.com.ng/18092009/news/news3.html However, while reacting to the claim of the IGP that Mallam Ribadu did not visit the country, Lagos-based lawyer, Mr. Femi Falana, told the Nigerian Tribune that the IG was being economical with the truth, emphasising that he accompanied Ribadu when he visited the residence of Gani and the hospital. |
Re: Ribadu's Visit To Gani Fawehinmi-photospeak For Police IG Onovo by presido1: 9:17am On Sep 18, 2009 |
Gbawe:How can you forget whats clear and take the word of another corrupt Nigeria. Am not a robot mate. Forget my own observation take the words of a lawyer who lie to maka his daily bread. Something stinks from that journalism. Do you think the Commander at Area F will side with Falana and lose his Job. Wait till he(Area F Commander) refute that claim then you will understand why Nigerians are not trusted world over. |
Re: Ribadu's Visit To Gani Fawehinmi-photospeak For Police IG Onovo by Tsiya(m): 10:38am On Sep 18, 2009 |
presido1: It is very easy to confirm. Since they claim he was at the hospital, I am sure there will be eye witnesses. 100s of them. The eye witness at the Gani family. Why even all the brouhaha? Just because police doesn't believe he is here, so we want to believe the police now. |
Re: Ribadu's Visit To Gani Fawehinmi-photospeak For Police IG Onovo by wirinet(m): 10:47am On Sep 18, 2009 |
presido1: Mr Presido, what exactly is your point, tell us what the "smell" smells like. Put forward an hypothesis, like the photos were fake, or those are not gani's family, falana, and ribadu, bit look alikes. You can even hypothesis that the meeting was real but took place in another country and at another date, but put forward an argument. Your observation about the clock and amount of daylight interesting but tell us what you conclude. To me it might be very bright halogen lights illuminating the out side and you know nowadays digital cameras have sharp contrasts and and provide bight illumination even under poor lighting conditions. |
Re: Ribadu's Visit To Gani Fawehinmi-photospeak For Police IG Onovo by keeeem: 11:02am On Sep 18, 2009 |
Presido1. Please let's look at things properly before raising alarm. The clock in reference was some quarter to 1pm. As you can see, the arm on 9 is the longer arm (stretching to cover 9). The fact remains that Ribadu did visit Gani's home |
Re: Ribadu's Visit To Gani Fawehinmi-photospeak For Police IG Onovo by presido1: 11:20am On Sep 18, 2009 |
wirinet:Am happy u saw the observation as well not that Eagle or vulture that can only come up with insult. I can't put up any arguement cuz all of them are jokers. From Onovo to Ribadu to Yaradua to Falana to every other person in Nigeria. I don't believe in anything they say. They are all criminals and they are just fooling u people and not me. |
Re: Ribadu's Visit To Gani Fawehinmi-photospeak For Police IG Onovo by presido1: 11:24am On Sep 18, 2009 |
keeeem:Assuming that your are right with the time which seems likely considering the amount of day light/halogen,does that tell you anything? Or the malfunctioning crap from eagle. Quarter to 1pm is not 6.45pm. |

@PRESIDO This your last comment indicate the level of foolishness in you. Having considered all your hypocrities you also prooved that all you're trying to do here is to condem the effort of those that have feeling for Nigeria masses. you may be one of beneficiary of the anachy engulf in the country i don't care ,thus your conscience is option in the platter of gold and it's your personal decision in which you have right to do but not at the detriment of helpless people. May God punnish all that behing the rotting stage of the country. |
Re: Ribadu's Visit To Gani Fawehinmi-photospeak For Police IG Onovo by cyriluzo(m): 12:29pm On Sep 18, 2009 |
@Presido, If you are honest with yourself, you'll base your argument on the two pictures and not just on one. Am grateful you noted Tsiya's response, but not seeing anything in the second picture will raise question about your sincerity. From the second pics am sure you may have observed that it could have been about any time from 6pm |
Re: Ribadu's Visit To Gani Fawehinmi-photospeak For Police IG Onovo by presido1: 1:42pm On Sep 18, 2009 |
jas_o:Another lunatic on the run. You can have that your feeling for ever for i care not. Hope you don't die having feeling while your mate in Ghana are enjoying their own feeling about their country. I don't know you are helpless while having the foolish feeling about whatever. Sorry about your helplessness. cyriluzo:I stated what i observed from the picture its left for you guys to counter my observation like wirinet tried with his halogen illumination which i did not buy the idea. I don't know why some Nigerian are so daft What i said and i still stand by it is that that first picture have two issues which i did not believe. The time on the wall and How bright the day was. Or is Nigeria in summer time. Somebody should prove me wrong not people coming to shout on top of their voices without making any meaning. Mind you am not in support of anybody as i have lost hope in Nigeria from primary school kids to Yaradua all are the same. I have met many of them politicians and those aspiring for position they all have the same mentality(loot loot loot). |
Re: Ribadu's Visit To Gani Fawehinmi-photospeak For Police IG Onovo by Gbawe: 2:09pm On Sep 18, 2009 |
presido1: Oga Presido , from your statement above I can infer that you are implying that Femi Falana is a liar or that Lawyers are liars. To the best of my knowledge Femi Falana is not a liar. I cannot believe that all Lawyers are liars either as that would mean I would have to regard Gani Fawehinmi as a liar and I would also have to accept the popular belief that all Nigerians are scammers and drug dealers. Femi Falana ,anytime and anyday, has more credibility than the commanding ranks of the Nigerian Police force as a man who is on the side of the Nigerian people. It is also patently wrong to generalise that all lawyers lie. In conclusion I think you are wrong with whatever it is you are implying . |
Re: Ribadu's Visit To Gani Fawehinmi-photospeak For Police IG Onovo by presido1: 2:21pm On Sep 18, 2009 |
Gbawe:Oga Gbawe, Lawyers are ethical liars just like we have ethical hackers in the IT world, its not a crime as that is what they are trained to do. Its professional mate. Dispute my findings and forget about the lawyer issue. |

What i said and i still stand by it is that that first picture have two issues which i did not believe. @Presido, two pictures where presented as evidence, so please base your argument on the two pictures. Obviously there must have been some kind of artificial light effect outside room. If you don't believe this, a site visit might do you some good.
I have a feeling you are not a Nigerian. If you are you can't be talking about loosing hope in everyone in the country because it will imply you don't even have hope in yourself. Nevertheless, I want you to know that we are aware of the magnitude of corruption and insensitivity in our country. But we'll never give up on it. You can give up on us but we'll never give up on ourselves. If peradventure you are a Nigerian, I will say buckle your belt, Just lay low and watch what is about to happen |

Like I asked in another thread on NL, why would Ribadu lied on his facebook that he was in Naija last week Thursday? |
Re: Ribadu's Visit To Gani Fawehinmi-photospeak For Police IG Onovo by presido1: 3:49pm On Sep 18, 2009 |
cyriluzo:The evidence on the first picture nailed it down so need going through the second. I have a feeling you are not a Nigerian. If you are you can't be talking about loosing hope in everyone in the country because it will imply you don't even have hope in yourself.I am and will remain unless the country is divided.
Nevertheless, I want you to know that we are aware of the magnitude of corruption and insensitivity in our country. But we'll never give up on it. You can give up on us but we'll never give up on ourselves. Enuf blood will spil before we can achieve that. Who do you think will do that. Nigeria is not united to carry out such cleancing so it won't happen. If peradventure you are a Nigerian, I will say buckle your belt, Just lay low and watch what is about to happenIn the next few weeks Nigeria will be 50 years. Won't that happen now that am alife. |

Cuz you admire them, they keep rapping your guys without condom. How come only two picture where taken from Gani's house to the Hospital. Can't you make use of your sense? or are you a robot.
