Only Yorubas in Nigeria try to limit Igboland to SE(a political demarcation) even non Igbos in Rivers state call Omuma,Etche;Obigbos etc Igbos,only Yoruba deny this because of insecurity and fear of Igbo dominance

We cannot be talking diversification when some people are still shouting our OYEL and trying to claim other peoples land. Haven' t you consider the fact that those who are shouting our OYEL are actually the people contributing the least to the economy in terms of actual production,whether in farming or industrial production.

I guess that is why the Nigerian civil war a.k.a biafran war was also rightly dubbed, "The Oil war".

Both parties were (in actual fact) fighting for the recently discovered oil in the Mid-west region.

No wonder Ojukwu's first offensive move was to "liberate" (sic) the oil-rich region.

Just because Buhari have been appointing more northerners than southerners (though this is co ndemnable) does not amount to northerners taking over Nigeria.It is a temporary stuff. This is not the first time northerners in power are acting like this. It will surely pass away.

As to Yoruba obsession with Igbos, this is not true. All we want is for our Igbo brothers to start thinking straight and stop trying to corner the oil wealth of the Niger delta for themselves all in the name of establishing Biafra with the Niger Delta people.

This kind of thread has been rehashed on this forum many times.
Even people who have the highest oil deposits have not really enjoyed for one day - many of those states owe their staff salaries or allowances of many months,and those states are just average in terms of development compared to other non oil-producing states,and you're here throwing tantrums.
If you like,deny the whole ethnic Igbos of their ehnicity,when it gets down to what really matters,everyone knows where he or she belongs and other tribes know who you are no matter how much you try to scream otherwise.

Oil is the least of considerations for the funding and development of Biafra. If u take time to read n listen, you will see Biafra is eager to move beyond oil and that is what makes it really irksome because despite all the noise about diversifying the economy, Nigeria still wants to live n die on oil. Besides if oil were the only source there's loads of untapped resources which will be explored by the owners in due time.

That is good news if true. I rather the oil in igboland being left alone for more useful generations than being wasted under this current set-up.
Afterall, there is no fiscal federalism. And igboland gets the least federal allocation anyway.
