I have a hard time trusting Airtel! First it was the 1000 for 3gig that ended up being less than 1gig and more recently the #50 for 1.5 gig night plan is actually 1.1

This is Air-tel,so the remaining 3gig will ascond to the air for nothing.

I stick to my 6GB for 2K Glo not too fast but manageable

Keep wasting ur time with airtel while glo rules the world. With 2500naira glo gives u 10gb or 10000mb of real data u can use on all device. The speed within my area is fantastic.

That's just the best plan if you are a medium data user! I am seriously enjoying it.

So true, the data doesn't run anyhow and you browse conveniently without worrying about data balance. The one I did last month had over 600mb left on the day it was to expire, I quickly used it to stream videos and update my apps. If only they have the rollover feature.

There's absolutely no honest service or company in Nigeria that can be trusted!

They're all busy extorting billions per a year from unsuspecting customers while offering crappy goods and services!!

I subscribed to this plan on Friday 5th August and i was told i had 6gb left when i checked my balance.

Now I got an alert yesterday that I have used up 95% of my data allowance.

This means that the pan is actually 3gb. I still don't understand why Airtel is being this fraudulent??

I made d airtell plan on Monday, by Saturday of same week the story is different. Since then, I stick to MTN no matter how they f**k up wit me....

Never trust Airtel Data. The most honest with data is GLO, it is such a pity that their network is not so good in some areas. So, we are left with MTN.

Dats exactly d problem! No consumer right nd protection any more. The regulatory agencies are completely dead! Consumers are constantly short-changed noting is being done to save dem!

I usually use *555*voucher number# to load my airtime sim and for example when I recharge 1000naira airtel voucher, they give me 2600 for airtel to airtel calls , 1000 naira for regular calls and 1gb of data. It also applies to smaller recharge vouchers . That is essentially good for me .

GBAM! So true. Their network is cool o, but they zap too much. When I am downloading a 200MB movie, I just register in my mind that 400MB is going to be be zapped.

1500 for 3gb has same value as 2500 for 5gb.

All our network providers are scamers, they will come up with a promo that will make you subscribe to their network, the next thing you will experience is bad network. Etisalat have suddenly became wworse. I just wonder what NCC are doing..

Pls go and get a Glo sim ASAP. My PC is always connected via hotspot and you can even gift your data to someone whether close by or far away. With this plan, 1mb is 1mb, no double charges.

Airtel never called the plan a BB plan in the messages they sent to me. It seems this is a plot from them to make subscribers waste money.

The blackberry unlimited plan 1+1 which gives 6gb for #1500 will give full value @ 1kobo per kilobyte for those using blackberry legacy devices like curve, torch, etc.

But for those using other devices (non-legacy devices) like bb10,android phones, etc will be charged @ 2kobo per kilobyte and that's why you will feel like you got 3gb for #1500 (6gb / 2kobo per kilobyte = 3gb).

It's just that customer care agents don't tell pple the truth most times, that's the major problem.

NCC has no hand here.

Airtel boldly told you that the plan is for BB devices and charging is different on other devices. It is so glaring on the text sent to each one of you.

You still went ahead and subscribe and come here ranting over the same terms of service that you agreed to.

FYI, normal billing is for BB devices only, if you are using Android, Airtel stated explicitly that you will be charge differently which include double charging especially when you are downloading.

Otherwise, subscribe to their Android plan which is for Android and charge normal. Simple English

u guys are really funny some of u abusing Airtel don't even use this plan and if using it u download anyhow and come here and start complaining. The plan works well on bb not on Android so stop complaining it wasnt designed for Android WebView platform
