We as Christians are expected to pray daily to our creator ''God'' and not just for request but also for spiritual edification, directions, thanksgiving and praises for previous answered prayers, e.t.c.

We seems to know the ropes, when it comes to giving praises and thanksgiving but where we fall short is rendring our requests properly to God, and when we make these mistakes, it robs us of our happiness, thanksgiving and praises to God, which always on a later end, kills our faith in him, but it is never his fault.

Jesus Christs himself already said it that our prayers are never answered because we donot ask properly.
