JESUS AND TECHNOLOGY

Jesus was the first man to use chat engine in the history of man. I can categorically say that He also used social media platform to communicate with the Father. The issue of the woman caught in the act of adultery in John 8:1-11 comes to mind here. Instead of Jesus to fall victim of critics' plot, He chose to chat with God. The Bible said Jesus bent down and started writing on the ground...guess what He could be writing...I thought His chats with God went thus:

Jesus: Hello Oluorun (The Head of the universe),
God: Hi, my son…how you?
Jesus: I’m fine but I need your assistance as a matter of urgency
God: What is matter? Go ahead and explain and explain to me, son.
Jesus: It’s about this wicked people. They just brought a woman caught in the adultery to me so that I might judge her to death according to the Law of Moses but…
God: but what?
Jesus: but I am here to save the lost, not to kill them.
God: Good of you! Tell them that whoever is without sin among them should be the first to stone the woman.
Jesus: Yes! Yes!! Yes!!! That’s correct, father. I will do just what you’ve said. Love much…Daddy.
God: Love you much more, my son.
Jesus: Bye…Bye…
God: Bye.

No wonder Jesus stood up and gave them the biggest question of their lives, and they were left with nothing more to do than to disappear into thin air. Jesus would never make mistake or rush into issues because He treasured communication with the Father more than anything, using either mouth-to-mouth or S-pad (Spirit-tab) or H-pad (Heaven-pad) or G-chat (ground –chat application). This is one of the reasons Christians should emulate Christ by constantly communicating with God using Jesus’ way. To the world, whatever technology or application you develop or whatever types of tabs you’re holding that are making your head to swell, remember they sourced out from God…they began with Jesus, yet He remained humble and never lost focus on His Father.
