The FG has announced that it will revoke the license of private tertiary institutions that flout the rules governing Post-UTME.

The Nigerian Federal Government has announced that it will revoke the license of private tertiary institutions that flout the rules governing the post-Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination(post-UTME) by covertly conducting the exercise.

The FG also added that it would sanction any institution that conductwritten post-UTME and sack the vice chancellors of such schools.Deputy Director, Press at the Federal Ministry of Education, Mr. BemGoong, who confirmed this in an interview, said the warning has becomenecessary as some institutions were still bent on going ahead with thewritten test, which the government has since abolished.Goong alleged that Afe Babalola University, Ado-Ekiti (ABUAD) wasstopped from carrying out a post-JAMB examination over the weekend inthe Garki area of the Federal Capital Territory.
