It is a global thing. It did not start in Nigeria, but they copied from western countries. I see most of it as lack of creativity. All they do is get bikini wearing girls, bottles of wine, red plastic cups, some boys and the party starts. Videos like Davido's " aiye" and some others stand out

It just goes to show that these musicians are either unintelligent or not talented. Most of their songs lack lyrical depth.

No more dignity for women

Because our producers are not talented, creative or have imagination.

My brother thank you, I was thinking bout this yesterday, As in eh, its not just 9ja alone but all western ( mostly US) vids have to show fine or whatever girls in semi nude clothings, I really don't get it, maybe those things appeal to me then but now when I see such I just grimace, like the music is good enough and to now make the video an eyesore by displaying all these bums and boobs and sexual gyrations just makes it less appealing

THe other day, I was watching Fifth harmony "Flex" nd all those babes just had to be just semi naked for no reason, like yeah I get the lyrics of the song but it doesn't have to be like that in all their vids, its so vain, its depressing

These is one of the reasons I don't even watch Music vids anymore I just download the mp3 , I download like 100 a month so I will just watch some music vids to know which popular ones I missed so I could DL

Like that Usher no limit song, totally loved it and DL'ed it as soon as I saw the video which was very kid friendly.
