The concept of heaven and hell is very leaky, scary, and frankly very very very absurd. What is there to fear in hell? and what is there to gain in heaven that cannot be enjoyed here? Hell and heaven makes a mockery of this life, makes a mockery of the pains people go through everyday to give their offspring a better life. I can only summarize this with a short story from one of my all time favorite authors Robert Ingersoll,

When I was a boy I heard them tell of an old farmer in

haba Manmustwac, the poster did not see me as a candidate for either heaven or hell, so wish one be yer own. Abi you be messenger of Satan. You get another list?. So lef me alone. When i finish here, i don finish. No heaven or hell. To me both are the same thing ( i think hell is even better- at least Satan does not require you to sing and clap yourself sore day in day out till eternity. You only have to cope with the heat. Who knows we might evolve internal cooling systems after living there for a couple of million years  .
