The prophet was almost right until he made the blunder of handing over president to an Igbo man.

There is nothing wrong with having Nigerian president of Igbo extraction, but unfortunately the position is earned not just given.
I would have champion the course of an Igbo presidency after PMB but the satanic Ipobian movement has changed the course of my thinking.

We have hundreds of people from the east that can easily govern Nigeria but its high time they sit down, think and calculate very well.

Presidency is NOT won by noise making or hatred [Ask Chief Obafemi Awolowo !].

None of us was born with hate. Unfortunately, most parents didnt do a good job raising their children to love other Nigerians. Even if you do not love other Nigerians, show them some respect.

This applies to all tribe.

hmmm, there have been several igbo Presidents and vice president in Aguyi Ironsi, Zik, Alex Ekwueme... lawlessness and widespread corruption plagued the nation during their tenures.

It was during Ironsi's time that serious impunity and bloodshed happened which led to the civil war.

Zik was known to be a weak leader (who simply passed the time) like Aguyi Ironsi, they are comparable to Goodluck Jonathan!

Alex Ekwueme as VP presided over the worst treasury looting exercise of the 2nd republic!

Igbo Governors and politicians are one of the most corrupt treasury looters in Nigeria, I cannot imagine them becoming president!

Igbos are "fantastically corrupt" people by nature, their politicians were previous businessmen who may have started out as drug dealers and importers of fake goods. Igbos generally have a mindset of "get rich or die trying" NOT "help the people and die trying"

igbo people don't trust themselves why should anyone else trust them

The prophet forgot that Nigeria was just Okay until the first Igbo man ruled and forcefully changed the structure of this country leading to the failures and national retrogression against which everyone is now demanding for restructuring. This call for restructuring is simply a call for a return to the structure we were operating but destroyed by an Igbo man-Ironsi. So how will an Igbo presidency save Nigeria when it was even an Igbo presidency that caused of problem by ruining the beautiful structure we started with?

They cheated themselves by their very silly and myopic miscalculations. In the first republic they were supposed to produce the first prime minister of Nigeria neatly without any controversy but they willingly sold it out to Hausa-Fulani in the name of pursuing "One-Nigeria" which was more of a fantasy than reality.
Despite selling out their birthright as stated above, they got most other positions but as if not satisfied they carried out a bloody coup which took many innocent lives from other tribes while even the guilty among their own tribe escaped. This marked the irreversible turning point in their fortune.
And then the worst of all; they dismantled our model system of government and replaced it with another which encourages laziness, oppression, treasury looting, rape, lawlessness, etc. That is how they fell from leading position to victim position till today.

Igbo President will be a very hard task. Neither i nor my offsprings willingly vote for an igbo man. Not with the amount of hate and bile exhibited towards the Yoruba Nation these past few years.

Its really appalling. I wish all these hatred could be thrown out. Igbos perceive the Yorubas hate them...and the Yorubas thinks that the Igbos hate them. Therefore, none will shift ground for the other. Underneath we all wish we could walk and work together but the *perceived* hatred won't allow us.

Maybe someone planted it there for a reason.

I love people who give intelligent responses.
Now, that seems to suggest that rather than keep demanding for Biafra, the Igbos have to remain in Nigeria so that the messiah will spring up from among them to correct Ironsi's error for us all Nigerians. They may however still exit after correcting the error anyway.

1, Are they Nigerians both the north and south west going to allow the Igbos to select their choice for the Igbo president?

2, What if they bring Rochas Okorocha as the Igbo president, what are we going to do ? because it didn't solve the problem.

3, After they allow Igbo to be the President may be one or two tenure, they will now rule us for another 56 years ?

Your fear that the Hausas and Yorubas are likely to connive together to seeing that the Igbo president goes to an Igbo man who is not the Igbos' choice reminds one of how Igbos too colluded with Hausas in 1999 to railroad to power an OBJ who was not the Yorubas' choice.
What goes around surely has a way of coming around. Only a question of time.
